The best restaurant in edisto without a doubt. Our sever Felicia, was the best one we have had the whole time we were down here. The food was AMAZING!!! If you want good food worth the money this is where to go. I’ve never tasted better grits and the flounder was mouth watering.
Had a lovely experience with my family here— I am a vegetarian and the chef and owner worked together to make sure I had something to eat as soon as we made the reservation. The chef made me a delicious tofu and vegetable stir-fry over grits! Always love the OPO :)
Excellent food…service…music. Most enjoyable evening. Really loved our server. If you like grits…you’ll love these!
First of all, the saying dont judge a book by its cover applies here. Once you step inside tbe ambiance is nostalgic and very authentic. My server vicki was amazing and had exceptional knowledge of the menu and offered amazing suggestions. I had a party of six, we were seated immediately. But i str
We've come here every year since they opened for our birthday/anniversary dinner and have never been disappointed!

Do not miss this hidden Charleston gem! Our friends recommended OPO for quarantine take out and it’s spectacular. Pork Chops and Filet Mignon are as good as anything you’ll find downtown. The menu is an ideal mix of American fare, with something for everyone.
My wife and I had dinner Wednesday evening. The service was excellent and the dinner was delicious. The b
We ate here during the jam packed week of July 4, 2022. Yes the Old Post Office takes reservations. No waiting in line! Yes it is air conditioned! No sitting outdoors at a picnic tabled restaurant on Jungle Road as the marshland mosquitos attack at dusk. The wine, the candlelight, the appetizers, th
Great food and excellent service. My wife and I split the pork cops. Because they gave us both the grits and green beans andwe both got a salad, there is a $15 charge to split. Very reasonable.
Amazing! Such great service and the food was delicious!
Must stop and eat , reservation preferred but they do take walk-ins
