Review Pressley's At The Marina - Edisto Island

The food was delicious. The pimento cheese spread is so good. We had shrimp and scallops. Both were cooked perfectly. I had grits on the side and these were some of the best I've ever had. The view is so pretty. Our server was friendly and helpful and the service was spot on. The only negative thing was the noise. It's very loud in there because it's small and crowded. But the food and the view made up for that.

Excellent food and large portions! Amber was a super waitress who took great care of us. The bean dip and chip was different and really good. View was divine! We will definitely return

Wonderful restaurant with a wide selection of seafood and other delicious offerings. Outside dining is available with beautiful views of the Intercoastal Waterway and the Marina itself.

Great food, great service, I had fried clams, wife had Parmesan encrusted grouper. They were both excellent, I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Our waitress Anna made this one of the best restaurant experiences we’ve had…she was awesome! The food was good although my red rice was cold. Anna did bring me a bowl of hot rice which made my entree even better. I do have to say that they don’t offer many fresh vegetables and we aren’t used to that. There appear to be some, rather a lot of upgrades needed to the entire building. Overall, our service, food & experience was a great one. Thank you Anna - continue serving your customers in a great way!

This is a better than average restaurant with top notch service. The food is always pretty good, it just never seems to be great and it's priced a little higher than other land based restaurants that have similar menus. With only 6 real restaurants on the island, the lower capacity often leads to long wait times but at least here you can sit down at the deck, have a drink, and watch the boats come in or walk along the docks. Great view at sunset.

Hands down one of the best meals a person can eat while at Edisto! Service was amazing, food was fast and cooked to perfection. You may not think about steak when at the coast, but the flat iron steak was amazing. The cheese grits were on point delicious. I can’t say enough good about this place. It cost a bit and it is worth every penny.

WoW! Amazing Service, Food and Coastal Vibe. Joanna was our Server and she Crushed it!! Highly recommend if your on the Island for the week. Be prepared to spend 30-50 a person, but let's be honest here. To make awesome memories while eating amazing coastal treats and having some great drinks on the water....$$$ Shouldn't get in the way. Amazing food! Loved everything we got! Our waitress was very attentive. Some craft beer selection but lots of mixed drink options! Note that you can't park in front of the restaurant. You can drop off and pick up but you have to park across the street.

Love their chips & salsa! Their oysters, cheeseburgers, grilled chicken sandwich and hush puppies are amazing

We held our daughter’s wedding reception here. Gorgeous views, and excellent food and wait staff. We appreciated the general manager’s assistance and accommodations for decorating along the way.

We are at Presleys for dinner tonight. We had a rather large party of 13 people, adults and kids. The service was fabulous our waitress was so polite and helpful. And the food was so good!!! We’re not big seafood people but the food we had was amazing!!! The crab cakes were so light and fresh, the shrimp boil was hot and spicy yet cooked perfectly. And the sesame ahi tuna was so good.

Pita and fresh dip greet you when you're seated. The fried mushroom appetizer is delicious. All portions of apps, salads, entrees are huge. One of the best chicken picatta that I've ever had. You must come here for the food. The view, service and reasonable prices are excellent bonuses! Wonderful!

They impressed me with timely service and friendly staff. The restaurant has a beautiful view. The food was great , but at first my tuna was a little under cooked . The manger picked up on came right over , gave me a new plate, and desert !! I’m very impressed.

I’ve been coming to Edisto since 2011. Wednesday night was the first time I’ve eaten at Pressley’s. We arrived at 5:00 with a party of 8. We expected a wait, but what we didn’t expect was to be seated right away. They had a table right away for us. The prices seemed to be in line with all the other restaurants on Edisto, but their selection of food was very impressive. As we all waited for our food - not that it took a long time - we commented on the other customers plates. The steaks looked delicious, the portions looked huge, and some of us even second guessed our own choices. However, when our food came out, we knew then that any choice would’ve been an excellent choice. The shrimp for the Low Country Boil was peeled already...yes you read that correctly...already peeled! What a treat! Everything from the She Crab Soup, the Low Country Boil, to Fried Oysters & Boiled Scallops were cooked to perfection & amazing. The vegetable of the day was Collard Greens - and seasoned with bacon in them. All 8 of us cleaned our plates/bowls & then needed to be rolled out of there - we were STUFFED!! I highly recommend Pressley’s at the Marina. You won’t be disappointed.

The Big A** Ribeye is the best steak I have ever eaten before. You can taste the aging of the meat and the seasoning is perfect #nosteaksauceneeded. Can’t wait to go back!!!

It was filthy, the baked potato was old, my slaw was room temp and the grits were stiff. This used to be the best restaurant on the island. We won't be back. Such a huge disappointment. I didn't even get a response from the owners when I messaged them about experience.

We had an awesome meal tonight! The fried shrimp were delicious, large and juicy. Probably some of the best shrimp we have ever eaten�

We waited 1.5 hours for a table and finally sat down and was told their bean salsa that is supposed to come to the table was “already put up.” The food was mediocre and half of our meal was cold. Our server was very nice though

Fabulous Bang Bang Shrimp. Huge portion!! Appreciate that they were open when everyone else was closed. Friendly attentive staff. Will be back.

Great food and friendly service in a beautiful location. Best Chicken Alfredo. I'll be making that long drive from Charleston to taste it again. My wife got the flat iron steak and it melted in your mouth. If you are on Edisto, you need to try this place. Reasonable prices too.

It was very busy tonight but we got seated right away and staff was friendly and food was really good! Nice views and yes it is kind of small and loud but it's a fun atmosphere. We would all go back :)

Absolutely every bite was spectacular! It had been two years since we had been to Edisto as Hurricane Matthew foiled last year's vacation plans, so we knew we couldn't leave the island without a visit to Pressley's. Getting to watch the boats and kayaks while we ate was a bonus. And Pressley's version of the Manhattan is divine. See you next year!
