After about an year, visited again today for the christmas buffet. Sure good improvement. Good food. Nandu gravy with pepper was yummy. Keep it up, cook tasty using good masala. Not sure why they serve water in bottle. I know the cost of cooking good south indian food, should avoid doing that for 2 reasons. 1. cost 2. plastic. They should work to filter water is serve to tables.

You will be disappointed if you are going with a good expectation. This is nowhere close to the chain of restaurants in Tamil Nadu with the same name. I went on the New year's day and it was supposed to be this Grand buffet which is costlier than the weekend buffet price. And I could hardly find non-vegetarian choices. Items were not re-filled properly. After completing the starters, I had to wait 10 minutes for round 2 since there were no plates. The aisle were you go and pick up the food items is really narrow and you have food kept on both the sides. This is a major headache if this place becomes little crowded. Couple of vegetarian dishes were good but nothing much. Overall a very bad experience

i went for a business lunch when it was relatively quiet for the buffet. but the items were good, especially the chicken 'lollipop' and the lamb curry, along with the egg biriyani. it was better than i expected, and milder. didn't find the real chettinad items like the kuzhi paniyaram etc but i suspect that's on the menu, which we didn't opt for, instead going for the buffet. service was quite good. don't know how much it cost, as my host paid. but i was pleasantly surprised at this place tucked away in a nondescript strip mall.

I liked many of the items on the lunch buffet, and the have a lot of Veg. items on the menu. It is very rush and gets more people than it could accommodate and so there is a huge waiting time. Well worth for a $10 odd buffet. I am a vegetarian and a very picky one when it comes to Indian cuisine as I consider myself a better cook compared to a lot of chief cooks at Indian restaurants in North america.
