Mr So Chinese Takeaway

Very much enjoyed this. We're a super fussy family and have been looking for a decent Chinese since moving to Edinburgh, Mr So was our fith attempt at our monthly Chinese takeaway and I'm so glad I chose to give Me So a try. Food was absolutely delicious! Salt and chilli stuff wasn't caked in overpowering salt and everything was just so soft and delicate. Chicken cooked to perfection that just melts. No chewy meat anywhere! Not to mention the staff are lovely and the takeaway building itself is very modern and lovely and clean! See you next month for our monthly Chinese 🤣

Short 10 minute wait outside after ordering in store. Spring roll was well filled and crispy, shredded chicken with sweet chilli was tasty, sweet and sour chicken was okay but sauce was very MSG heavy, and rice and prawn crackers were both good. Overall, a decent takeaway option in the area, and a good option since the change in ownership at the Loon Wa. Will visit again.

Used Mr So for 6 years...I work at the RIE this is the Chinese we use at least twice a month when on night shift. Never had a bad meal, used between two different wards with at least 50 members of staff. Best Chinese in Edinburgh. Usually order prawn toast, crispy shredded chicken chilli honey sauce, chicken chow main, spice and salted chips, bbq sauce and egg fried rice. Share the meals between 4-6 of us. Good portions lots of flavour. Delivery is always on time too.
