Starbucks

The postcode took me to a slightly different side but once I walked to the main road, there was the Starbucks I was after. The view is amazing. Expect crowd at anytime as it is a popular go to coffee place. People are working, chatting, people watching there. We literally waited for 20 minutes to be seated near the window as it's from where you can see the spectacular castle.

Lovely place to stop for a coffee and a rest if you've been walking round Edinburgh. Downstairs is tiny with just a small service area for if you're on the go but upstairs is huge! There's so much seating and the view of the castle is amazing. Very picturesque. Our drinks were great and the staff were lovely.

This Starbucks is around the corner from my hotel, the Kimpton. I just came to get morning coffee (first pic at 9am, others at 3pm) and was surprised to see how spacious and light it is. I came back this afternoon to do some journaling over a cup of coffee. There was hardly a seat open! Most people are working here with computers, though the table of girls next to me are saying their internet is unreliable. Things to consider. I know people aré saying it’s a great view of the castle, but just a few seats have that view! Anyway, it’s a great Starbucks. Hard to miss from the front since the first floor is only the takeout counter and the main store is upstairs.
