Highly recommend! Will definitely revisit next time in Edinburgh. Best ever peshwari naan bread. I would go there just for that. I had to ask for the ingredients as super tasty. There is an extra one, but you can find out when you visit 😉. Forgot to take photos but this was the delicious Merlot wine we had with a very garlicky lamb dish to fight off a cold, which worked. A really good find...

I placed an order to pick up so I could dine in my hotel room. The Jalfrezi - Medium Hot was recommended in Uber Eats. My order was ready quickly and it was hot. The staff was very friendly when I entered the restaurant. If you love hot and savory, this is your dish. I haven’t had an Indian dish this delicious in years. I also ordered the garlic naan to dip in my dish. The naan was soft with a good flavor of garlic without it being too much. When I return to Edinburgh, I’ll definitely order that dish again and dine in for the experience.

Walking along the Royal Mile in Edinburgh, you notice a wing of open doors leading to the first floor of a house on the High Street. You are warmly greeted by a calm and smiling man who, as it soon turns out, comes from Bangladesh. You start a conversation with him, just casually order, the moment is perfect. As well as a brought lunch with a varied palette of tastes prepared from quality and fresh ingredients. During lunch time, a mysterious gentleman walks by, radiating skill and wisdom. It was to be expected in this magical place - he is a cook. This place offers a very high quality and authentic product, it offers a rare chance when traveling through Edinburgh.

Ate here on our first evening in Edinburgh. After a very long day of travel, we were late heading out for dinner and most places had stopped serving food. When we walked into this restaurant, it was clear they were getting ready to close, but they took pity on us and sat us for dinner anyway: we were the only 2 people in the entire place. My friend ordered the chicken biryani and I got the butter chicken. Both dishes were flavorful and cooked perfectly. They were the perfect place to start our Edinburgh vacation!
