Amazing experience at the oxtail. We were a big group of 21 and they had no issues on having us the service was impressive, and I would like to have a special mention to the German waiter for having us laugh and make sure that everyone was happy. The food was very good and not expensive at all.

The staff is really lovely. The menu is interesting you can find english or french food, both are fine food for a good price. The dessert are really good too. The set menu 9£ for 3 courses is really interesting.

Was there for lunch. I'm fussy about chicken as normally undercooked or not nice but the chicken burger was cooked perfectly, nice and tender. The young girl who waited on us was attentive and helpful good music in background not too loud. Definitely a good choice will be back

Was a bit disappointed as I liked Jules Verne but no need to fear. Very ambient dining room with music at a level that doesn't hinder conversation. The food is very nice, the rib eye deal of two steaks and two glasses of wine is very good value. If anyone can find a better pre-7pm deal of three courses for £9.90 then I'd love to hear about it.

Nice food. I tired beef onglet and my friend tried special meal today, both are really good. The price is fair. The only cons is that it’s a little slow to get our meal.

AMAZING FOOD AND GREAT SERVICE
I've been here twice! One for the breakfast service and one for dinner and both times have been awesome!
Everything in the full Scottish breakfast is great on its own. The eggs are perfect, the bacon's the right amount of crispy, and the hash browns are outstanding! There is quite a big portion of beans though and a lack of bread.
For dinner I had the salad which was pretty good but the steak was the winner! It was nicely seasoned and very tasty! Just a really good steak!
The service was also amazing both times. The staff were attentive and friendly!

Went with friends on a Groupon deal for Ribeye steak and wine. Steak done exactly how we asked, medium, pink and no blood. Staff all very friendly and beautiful surroundings. Deceptive from the front, looks like a cafe but the dining room at the back includes some booths which are very comfy. Nice wine, great steak and great desserts. Third visit here and it won't be the last.

Was given a voucher as a gift so had ribeye steak with choice of sauce, salad and chips plus glass of wine. Water on table and basket of bread. We enjoyed very much, lovely service from very pleasant staff. Best flat white coffee we've had in a long time too. If I had any negative it would be that I much prefer proper chips and not skinny ones, but thats just matter of taste. Would be happy to go back and have no hesitation in recommending 😊
