We’ve been customers for over 20 years both sit in and takeaway! Both lamb and chicken dishes always tender and tasty! Breads are superb too!

One of best Indian restaurants in Edinburgh especially in terms of the size of the plates and the prices. The staff are also very friendly and provide a great service.

Always a warm welcome. No frills, dress down interior with a canteen feel. But just the best curry in Edinburgh. Quick, easy and delicious. My go to curry house when I’m out in the city.

24 years ago as a country bumpkin brand new student to the city I had my first authentic curry at the place nearest to where I was studying...
It was stunning!
And I treated myself to a starter portion of Tandori chicken and a naan when I was studying for exams...
This week I went back.... I uses wheelchair now so I was worried I would be able to get in...
I chose from menu outside and cles the number.
The same lovely gentleman is been served by years ago came put t get my order.

Was absolutely beautiful food and service as friendly and lovely as ever. He said he remembered me... Who knows... But I felt a lovely nostalgia for when you remember something as the absolute best... And all those years later you realise it definitely was! And still is!

Nice vegetable curry, lamb curry, and nan bread, the tea is also great, recommended. You can take away if you can't finish your foods at the restauran. The baklava is good. Located near the mosque (you can park your car here; behind the mosque there is parking area). Friendly staffs as well.
