Lovely food, nice to see some different options on the menu compared to a 'standard curry house'. Prices reasonable and service very friendly. Busy midweek which I'd hope is indication of the popularity

It’s a lovely restaurant with friendly waiters! I’ve ordered a chicken Bhuna which is of medium spice, and a sarso bhindi for the side, they are all delicious and I strongly recommended them!

My wife and I ordered a collection from Pataka the other week. We had heard good things and we weren’t disappointed. The menu is vast but I like how they have recommendations on their website to help you decide. My wife went with the lamb Pasanda and I went with the Royal Murgha which was a recommendation. We got the Pataka Assorted Kebabs to share and boiled rice and a couple of naans. We ordered on the phone which was easy. I went in to collect. I was a little early but the staff were very friendly and welcoming. They even gave us free poppadoms since it was our first time. I am afraid I can’t give a score for the atmosphere because we didn’t sit in but it seemed nice. The shop is small but nice. The food stayed warm when we got home. All the food was really tasty. Excellent flavours. We really loved the dips that came with the popadoms. My wife’s Pasanda was nice although she did think that the lamb was a little on the dry side but still enjoyable. Next time we would like to sit in because the food is always better that way.

Best North Indian food we have tried so far.We had peshawari naan & parata with North Indian lamb curry and mushroom side dish which gave us a perfect combination. Staff was so friendly- especially Fevian 😊 kindly helped us go through the menu and selecting the best combination for us. Portion sizes were well worthy for the price. Highly recommended 😊

The food here is more than amazing! It feels very authentic and well thought of (they make a mango sauce to die for)! We had a wonderful time, mostly thanks to the great food, the cozy ambiance and the welcoming staff who made sure to always be available for us. I would highly recommend it to everyone!

One of the best, hearty meals you will have. The flavour combos are so delicious and satisfying. Also, I have to point out the vibes of the restaurant, the interior is beautiful, art deco style! You will not regret coming, such a warming meal. I recommend the North Indian garlic chicken for spice lovers

The staff were friendly and welcoming and took my booking over the phone without hassle. Upon arrival they took our coats to dry and were quick to ask if we wanted to order anything. We ordered a pickle tray and poppadoms and knew we made the right choice as these were all delicious and the mint and yoghurt sauce was homemade. The samosas were also handmade and fresh and delicious. I ordered the Kathmandu chicken and it was bang on. Warmed as I ate it beautifully, the chicken was fresh and perfectly cooked. The naan bread I ordered to accompany it was also phenomenal, no skimping, full of ingredients and fresh. Thank you so much
