C's Waffles

I really thought this was a go to place for breakfast, but no. $14.75 for 2eggs over med(perfect), 4 strips of bacon (nice and crispy), potatoes (small chunks of french fried potatoes, no onion or any spices, blah), lg OJ, I ordered small and tea. No ambiance, kind of looked like a school cafe, great service though. 1 waitress, 2 other tables. I tipped 3.00 because she was great. Will not be going back.

I came by here about 7:30am on a Sunday and sat at the counter up front. The place was real quiet ( you could hear a pin drop ) I think some low music would have been better. There was a TV up front but the sound was turned all the way down. One other guy got up and left and I was there all by myself. So quiet….. Then a family came in and sat down , then another couple came in. Meanwhile my order was up and I sat there at the counter to eat my breakfast. I thought the Biscuits and sausage gravy was tasteless , The Biscuits were good , but the gravy had no taste. So I put more pepper on that did nothing for it. I’m not even sure there was any sausage in there , but some little brown bits of something - not sure if it was even sausage or something else.. I picked one of the bits out of the gravy and it dissolved in my mouth. It may have been little toasted bread bits. ( not sausage ) The eggs and hash browns did not have much flavor either, they were just okay but still…the pepper did nothing to kick up the taste. I thought maybe my taste buds were off that morning so when I got home I made a small egg sandwich and put my own pepper on - it tasted good - just like it should. . So I think they must have some low budget pepper here that does nothing to kick up your meal. Well even though my Hostess was nice I ran out of ice water half through my meal because he never did check in on me or ask how I was doing, and the other waitress working behind the counter never looked at me once or acknowledged I was even there. By the time I was done , I turned around and found the place was filling up with several people still walking through the front door. I think next time I will come back for lunch , I see the burgers start off at $10 , and go up from there. I wonder if that includes Fries and a Coke…

I was contemplating between Chic Fil A breakfast and finding a local breakfast joint. Found this place on Google and 100% glad I did. Literally just finished eating and had to immediately hop on here to leave 5 stars. Everything was perfect. I got the Hungry Jack and you get so much for that price. Pancakes were fluffy, eggs were moist, hashbrowns weren’t overcooked. Will DEFINITELY be back soon. This place is a gold mine.

Waited over an hour for the most simple things on the menu, and what we received was not even worth the drive over let alone the wait. Very lazy service and not a single car in the entire restaurant. Other people screaming profane things being obnoxious and nothing was said the whole time. I received my order of hash browns in a single piece of a burnt brick of disgusting inedible tasteless burnt grossness. Literally the entirety of my hash browns are burnt. They didn't even try to hide the fact by flipping them or anything, I can pick up this entire thing dude like how did they look at this and say yep that'll do, send it out. The C's in NSB is leagues ahead of this place. They also serve tap ice water, just a tidbit.

C's waffles was a great experience, the staff was so friendly and provided tremendous service, I ordered the waffles, and I must say they were the best waffles I have ever tasted, my entire party talked about how great their dishes were as well, and I thought it was reasonably priced, I would definitely recommend that everyone should give this little spot a try, you won't be sorry.
