I've been coming here for years and have never once been disappointed. The food is always on point, the portions are quite generous and the staff is very friendly. Pricing is on par with the food and service. I've been to nearly every restaurant in the area and The Wharf has always been my favorite place to go.
Just had dinner there this week. The Mussels are the best I’ve had on the Island. The meatloaf was also excellent. My wife Had the vegetable pasta dish, she enjoyed it thoroughly. The price was reasonable and the service was good. Highly recommended

We went to the Wharf after a dear friends mother's funeral. It was her mother's wishes after her service for all involved to go & get drunk. Well, we didn't get drunk but did have a couple of cocktails & a very yummy lunch. It was a sad service but comforting to be all together. The Wharf & John made our visit a special occasion.
Excellent location and the food quality matches it. The chowder fries definitely stand out and are a must-try here. We ordered the pastrami with side caesar. The sandwich was light and delicious without any unnecessary extra condiments. The side salad was fresh and light easily going together with the sandwich. Definitely recommend!!
Ended up here 3 times on a work trip. Ordered steak frites all 3 times…the 2 orders I had at night were amazing, cooked perfectly, had the perfect amount of char on it and seasoned very well. The one time I went for lunch had me asking if I received the same meal. Maybe it’s a hit or miss or maybe skip during lunch hours. Nonetheless service was amazing all the time, drinks were good.
A little confusing at first but once someone greeted us we were seated immediately. Food was pretty good. Drinks were okay. Service was marginal but sufficient. Overall not a home run but our expectation was Tavern / Bar so it certainly met that level. It was also very convenient to the Vineyard Square hotel.
We left Oak Bluffs due to a power outage and went to Edgartown by bus. We looked for a well-rated place that wasn’t on the main drag and found the Wharf. We arrived at around noon and got there at the right time. The crowds started to arrive soon thereafter. Rain had arrived which probably slowed the crowds.
Drinks were good. Personally I had the Cobb salad which was so-so but the rest of our party had some kind of fish and they were pleased with their meals.
All in all a cool little place that isn’t too expensive and a respite from the weather. Thanks!
We had a great family meal out at the Wharf. Eddie our waiter was incredible. He was very kind to our son and even let him pet a lobster. Food was good, very relaxed atmosphere.
This place is a gem!! Jack, our waiter was absolutely amazing, food could not have been better, 5 stars all the way! If I could give 10 stars I would! The swordfish was one of the best entrees my husband has ever had and the Philly cheese steak was hands down the best I have ever had. I am not sure what they do to their fries, but it is magical, lol!!! Drinks don't disappoint on any level. Atmosphere is beautiful, old decor, old exposed beams and lantern lights, and it is a jaws fan dream come true with all the memorabilia! This is a MUST SEE on your itinerary through Martha's Vinyard!
Good food, small simple menu that is seafood based. There is a handful of vegetarian options that worked well for my wife. Portions were large and the drinks were strong and tasty.
The food was good. It's a bit pricey. The waitress seemed distracted.
This is a great place to go if you’re looking for picky foods with a casual & chill experience. The customer service was great and all of the food we ordered was really yummy. Definitely recommend this place for some good eats!
