Best ice cream on MV by far! The snickers cream and butter crunch are fantastic. Been here 4 times in 2 weeks with my family and we love it.
Of course you need ice cream. If you find yourself lucky enough to be strolling down Main Street in Edgartown, then you should stop for a cone. Granted that in the summer, amidst the crazy crowds of tourists, the line may seem pretty daunting, but these folks are old-pros at the crazy crowds and lines, and they generally do a fantastic job of getting folks in and out pretty quickly. AND, it's is actually worth the wait. Not only because then you can say you actually went to Mad Martha's while on the Vineyard (and who wouldn't want to add that to their bragging rights, after all Sasha and Malia like it) but it's really GOOD ice cream! So get in line...you know you want a cone!
My wife and I stopped in at their Oak Bluffs location and it is definitely worth the stop. They had tons of flavors and snickers one was delicious. The service was great and lady at the counter was very friendly and helpful.
My spouse and I stopped in for two single scoops of the mudslide ice cream. Including a tip, it was $15. Thought it was a little pricey. The ice cream was fine, but not at that price.
If you’re craving good ole ice cream, then Mad Martha’s is a place to go. The offerings are also kid friendly and generous servings. The staff is super friendly and fast too.
It was fine. Exactly what you would expect. If you want one scoop, no you cannot get a half scoop of two flavors.
One note - if you have a food allergy, I would highly suggest asking the ingredients. I got the pistachio and it very much had almond extract in it, so be mindful if you have an allergy.
The people who work there are friendly and helpful. They have a lot of different flavors of ice cream that I haven't tried tried before so luckily you can get a couple samples to test. I ended up going with the apple fritter which was delicious.
Ice cream was amazing and my brother just asked for a small waffle cone with whipped cream and they made it for him with no trouble.

Very creamy and delicious. Also very crowded, so you will need to plan to eat it while you walk around Main St. Lots of flavors that you never see anymore... peppermint, pistachio, maple and walnut, etc.
The “sizes” are actually number of scoops. At least as far as I can tell. A small is one scoop, medium two, etc. Would be nice to mix flavors in a small, but the ice cream was very tasty so no complaints about having more (might be too much for some).
Blueberry was very tasty. Pistachio was also very good and worked well with chocolate as a pair.
