Awesome food + friendly staff. Would have given it a 5.0 because we did have a great experience but it is $$$$. Portions are just right for one person. Not the place to be if you're starving. One of the best meals we've had on the island. The short ribs and paella are 👍🏼

I had the sea scallops and lobster ravioli and it was excellent. Another guest had the short rib which was equally good. No filet on the menu, so the wife had the sirloin...she wasn't impressed. Server was the best part...just don't remember his name.

Great restaurant! We love the food here and go back every year when we are here. It's fine dining but not too fancy. Tonight,we had spinach salad w/ goat cheese, pear & Bibb lettuce salad, wild mushroom soup; sole piccata, braised short ribs, tortellini; sorbet, brownie ala mode & creme caramel. Expensive but worth it!

The food and service is amazeing. I was recommended to eat there by some one who works at chescas on the boat over to marthas vineyard and i was delightfully surprised at how good the food was and how friendly the service is.

Such a great dinner place. Intimate and romantic vibes - we went as a family and loved it. We loved our waiter and his recommendations. Great food! They have gluten free pasta. Wine was amazing as well. Would definitely go back!

Delicious meal and excellent service. We got the cod , the halibut and the tuna entree. My boyfriends white bean soup looked great with lots of veggies. My arugula caprese was tasty and the tomatoes were red and sweet. The fish entrees were all enjoyable. Please carry a Non Alcoholic Beer 🍺 for those of us that don’t drink alcohol. Non drinkers want options besides juice and soda.

VERY attentive service, delicious food, and inviting atmosphere. We went in early September (sort of nearing the off season) but the kitchen was still bringing their A game. We loved their porch and how central it was to good shopping. Would recommend the grilled salmon and the NY strip.

Chesca’s was awesome! We got the clam chowder and shrimp cocktail to start. The portions are big so you are getting what you’re paying for. The starters we’re delicious. We got the bolognese for our entree and it tasted really good as well. The atmosphere was really nice and not too loud or busy. Our server was great and really accommodating. Overall the food was delicious and we recommend this place to anyone traveling into Edgartown looking for delicious Italian food.

Fabulous Restaurant! Food was mouth watering. The clam chowder was excellent. The mussels, cod and scallops were amazing! Style, decor, staff, meal - all out of this world! Definitely a keeper!

Dinner at Chescas was really great. We dined at the bar and Sarah took good care of us. The patrons at the bar were friendly locals. We had the eggplant parm which was just ok. The braised short ribs melted in my mouth and the Demi glaze was spot on. Hubby had the NY Strip which was giant, juicy and cooked perfect. I recommend this place but skip the bland eggplant parm. Bread service was also basic dinner rolls, for those reasons I withdrew a star. Go here!

Good food, great bartender. Nice old-school charm. Still trying to figure out my favorite dish. Clams with angel hair pasta adds chunks of sea clams, a little strange but nicely flavored. Very good marinara.

Delicious comfort Italian. We loved the chicken Marsala, eggplant parm, local greens, and chocolate pot du crème. Very grateful for the warm rolls and high quality butter as well.

Great food! Ambiance was nice - felt a bit like an old school Italian eatery. Clam chowder and white bean soup were excellent. Tuna was spicy but delicious. Drinks were pricey but to be expected. There are rocking chairs out on the porch, so if you get there early it's nice to order a drink and look at toward the water as you wait.

Excellent restaurant attached to the hotel that provides lovely dining, an excellent menu, quality food and excellent service. Four of us dined there on a Saturday night after making reservations ahead of time and each one of the meals was absolutely perfectly done. For a restaurant in edgartown, the prices were as expected and not outrageous. Don't miss this wonderful dining experience

The NY strip steak was cooked to perfection and it was such a large portion that I was full until the next day. Potatoes and asparagus were phenomenal. Bellini cocktail was refreshing and strong. Lighting is dim and ambience is romantic. The air was a bit stuffy though. The Snowball desert was delicious, we finished it in no time.

Do not miss the braised short ribs. They were SO GOOD. My husband had the spaghetti and meatballs - he said the meatballs were great but the dish overall was just ok. The cocktails we had (espresso martini and old fashioned) were good but not exceptional. I would come back just to eat those short ribs again!
