My friend and I had the most wonderful dinner. It was ‘opening for the season night’ at Detente, and they hit it right off the bat. The food was incredible. I thoroughly enjoyed my cauliflower appetizer and my halibut. Lucian was an impeccable waiter - so nice and attentive. Perfect night.
Established Martha’s Vineyard eatery. We sat at the bar where we enjoyed excellent service, delicious eats and relaxed yet elegant vibes. The lamb chops were tender and juicy, halibut was fresh and flaky. The appetizers were delicious! Large portions, fair prices.

Food was pretty good here! Nice ambience outside but there was some mosquitos. Just bring your bug spray if you sit outside! They bring bread to the table free so maybe don’t order the cornbread as well.. even tho it was pretty good lol
