We were up visiting family and it was suggested we go to there for dinner. Not knowing much about the area we agreed to go. There was 7 of us and asked if we could all sit together the answer came back as a no. We had to sit at different tables. It's not your typical eaterie. Being in a building with many stores it was rather long and not wide. None the less we stayed. The food was very good and I wish we had fries like that back home.

We shared the crab dip appetizer and split a 12-inch pepperoni and black olive pizza and it was delicious. Our only complaint was the soda was not good. It was flat and the syrup ratio was off. Our server was not very understanding about it and said no one else had complained. 🥴

Fun setting and comfortable atmosphere—feels like a cross between an English pub and a sports bar. Good food and drink selection. The burger was so tasty and cooked to perfection—great fries! My wife order chicken tenders which she first offered one to me but then she finished them together with the pub chips—I guess that says it all. We want to go back very soon!

This place should be busier!!! Someone recommended this place and said try the onion rings, but they were out. We were not disappointed with the fried pickles instead! The mushroom Swiss burger was good. The chicken tenders are huge and delicious. House chips>French fries. The ranch is *chef's kiss* 🤌 10/10 highly recommend

Food was superb and the new waitress Kaitlynn (hope I spelled that right) did her job perfectly. She spoke to my wife and I like she had known us for years. We usually have good service there but today was exceptional. Keep up the good work Kaitlynn or Kaitlyn (I tried to spell it right)

This was a first visit for myself and a friend. We both ordered the hamburger steak special. The plate had a slice of Texas toast bread topped with mashed potatoes topped with hamburger steak topped with grilled onions and brown gravy. I loved this idea! It also came with a side of green beans. We both ordered sweet tea. The hamburger steak stack was all delicious! The green beans looked good BUT they had vinegar in them which almost ruined them. I put plenty of pepper on them but it barely made them tolerable. My friend didn't eat her green beans at all due to the vinegar. If they had used some liquid smoke it would have been perfect. The sweet tea was delicious!!! Our waitress was very good! They were busy for a Saturday afternoon with couples and families and some singles. I'll give them another chance but won't get green beans if they continue to put vinegar in them. They could offer it but shouldn't just put it in them. There were lots of TV screens with assorted sports on. They have a bar. The overall atmosphere was good.

The food was pretty good. I got a Reuben and fries and my wife got a grilled cheese and chips. The Reuben was good but I would've liked a little bigger portion of meat. The fries were really good. My wife really liked the grilled cheese but she wished that the tomato was a little bigger and didn't get overpowered with other flavors. The chips were pretty good but I felt they were a little bland, they could've used just a little salt or something to add flavor. All in all I would recommend this place for everyone to check out. The prices were great!

Pleasantly Surprised! I was really looking forward to a crab cake sandwich from somewhere, but after giving up on finding a place, I decided to try Governor's Pub and boy am I glad I did! I ordered the Fish and Chips and was pleasantly surprised that the fish was cod! I was expecting catfish or flounder (which I'm not crazy about) so to get a nice piece of cod was wonderful. It was cooked to perfection and the fires were really different, but really good, however the best part of the meal was the coleslaw! Many times coleslaw is just something you eat, but not really something you just go crazy about, but this was the bomb! I've never had cole slaw with a kick to it and I grew up shrimping and crabbing in Florida, so I know what I'm talking about! I've had more slaw than a posssum's been in a dumpster! I'd have to say that was the best dang slaw I've ever had! Service was great and price was reasonable for the food. My first trip to Edenton, NC and if I came back no doubt, I'd eat here again! This deserves a song. I'm thinking The Road Less Traveled!

10/10 would highly recommend! This place exceeded our expectations. The appetizer was delicious…the pretzel bites, our waitress was amazing, dessert (sweet potato cheesecake *delicious*) and the drinks were great!
