Nothing Fancy Cafe - Edenton - Photo album

There aren’t many breakfast options in quaint little Edenton. I asked some locals and none of them told me about this wonderful breakfast buffet!! Scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, oatmeal w/ fixing, baked goods (the cinnamon roll is on point) a couple types of quiche, and more. It changed a little e
Pleasant atmosphere and friendly waitresses. I had a good experience with other visitors.
Place is pretty good. Home cooked home made the food/sides/desserts. Service was good.
We've been here several times now and have been pleased. The food is always good, but not knock your socks off good. Although, this last visit, I had their pecan pie and it was delicious! Our server, Jennifer, was excellent! I would recommend you give it a try.
Best place we've found in Edenton so far. We've been twice THIS WEEK and the food is fresh and fantastic, from salads to entrees. There are also homemade jellies and goodies for sale, along with used books and areas set up with nostalgic goods you may purchase. Although we've not tried desserts
Good hot food served with a smile. Like the feeling of my favorite aunt who would cook for the family on Sunday. That was a special day because it we were all dressed for Sunday meeting and felt so special. My visit was on Sunday after church service however every time we visit even Thursday nigh
The food was delicious, and the tea was good also. Nice little hole in the wall type restaurant, with little items to sell also. The service was good, didn't have to wait to long for the food. I will probably return to this location to eat again.. 👍
So far my favorite place to eat in Edenton! The staff is incredibly friendly. The specials are excellent. And the sides! Some day I"m going to come in and just get all the sides! Good home cooked food when I don't feel like cooking.
First, get the name right, Google! For Pete's sake! It's the Nothin' Fancy Cafe, and while that is true, it is arguably the best place to eat in town. You have ladies cooking up some great food in the back and every day you can count on something good being on that menu. Gail, the owner, is usus
Really enjoyed this quaint restaurant in historic Edenton, NC. Great down home cooking with a wonderful country feel. Lots to buy including art on the wall, hand made jewlry and furniture and jams and lots more. Try the meatloaf with gravy! Yummy! The cornbread is out of this world. If I did not kno
Best food and prices in Edenton. Staff is so friendly and accommodating. I've tried every main dish and their specials. All are delicious! Also a wide selection for sides and great home made desserts.
I love this little restaurant. It's not fancy but the food is good and the people are really nice. And there's a good selection of handmade and vintage items for sale. Very nice buffet brunch on Saturday.
Food is really good! Down to earth atmosphere. Prices are a bit high based on the amount you food thats recieved. If you are really hungry and wanting a decent size meal this is not the place for you.
Just another one of the marvelous places to visit while in the little town of Edenton North Carolina. True it's not anything fancy but it is incredibly interesting. You can't help but find any number of wonderful items on the menu as well as interesting deals on the shelves and racks. What can I say
First time, we got fried and broiled catfish special with southen sides...collards and summer squash with peppers. It was all delicious. We got small rather than large and it was plenty!
Great food! Loved the chicken livers with onions, tomato pudding and beef tips. Yum! Fun antiques, too. Great place !
