Gary and I had a wonderful dinner last night at the Table. The food was awesome and the staff were wonderful. Had our coffee and desert on the patio. Couldn't have ask for a more perfect evening. Thank you.
Charming BnB in a central location with attentive service. The Table’s Chef’s Tasting is an extraordinary dining experience. Pricey, but worth it as a splurge. Susan Beckwith is a devoted proprietor whose efforts are the difference between ordinary and outstanding. Edenton is better because of the IBI.

The Inner Banks Inn is a jewel in the quaint little town of Edenton. The Southern Hospitality is a breath of fresh air. The staff were so friendly and welcoming they made us feel right at home. If you are ever in the area you should make it a point to spend time at Inner Banks Inn.
This town was mid point from where I lived in NC and Virginia my home town. It's absolutely beautiful and was a great time during Halloween!
Beautiful B & B with five different houses. All historic and beautifully appointed. Large front porches and brick patio. Wonderful dinner and breakfast at the Table on site. Walking distance to downtown and the Roanoke River Lighthouse. All around a wonderful experience!
My husband and I came here for a night out kid free and it was perfect! The owner was very kind and outgoing and the meal we had was to die for! YUM! My husband knows the cook, and let’s just say “he knows his calling!!” We will definitely be back to eat and also a night to stay:)
It has been exactly one week since Inner Banks Inn gave me and my partner the most beautiful day of our lives, Our Wedding! From their attention to every detail for us, to the kindness of their wonderful staff, they made our day that much more enjoyable! They went over and above to accommodate us, and our friends and family. While everyone knows little things may go wrong on your Wedding Day, the wonderful people at Inner Banks took exceptional care of making our day as magical is it ever could be! The food was phenomenal, the rooms were comfortable, and the environment was so relaxing, despite the crazy hot temps that weekend! Kirstin and Kat especially hold a special place in my heart for helping me plan and coordinate every thing our hearts desired! These ladies truly took such great care of us! If you are planning a wedding, seriously, these are the best people you could ever work with! My sincere gratitude to everyone at Inner Banks for showing us such love and acceptance, and for giving us the wonderful memories that I will cherish forever!!

Wish we could have stayed more nights. We were lucky enough to celebrate our 26th wedding anniversary for 1 night. Loved being in a beautiful old house. If only the walls could talk. We really enjoyed our evening at "The Table ". Food was yummy, staff was excellent and enjoyed a short talk with the beautiful Susan. After dinner finished my glass of wine sitting around the fire pit. It was a memorable night. Will differently be back when its warmer for a longer visit
From the moment you drive on-site until your last delicious breakfast, the warm embrace of this beautiful, historical inn surrounds you. The inviting smell of fresh baked cookies, the welcoming, smiling faces of the attentive staff, and the comfort of the beds in the spacious rooms are only the beginning of the inn's charm. And it's only a short walk to town, where amazing sunrises, sunsets and quaint shops await. Can hardly wait to go back!
Very nice room. Dinner and breakfast at “The Table” were tasty and well executed. Huzzah!
We enjoyed our meal here. Our waitress was very nice and hardworking, and did a great job. Our meal was also very well prepared. As an added bonus, they were fine with our dogs outside which is how we found this place when we first moved here.
It's a little ironic that the most expensive restaurants give you the smallest portions. The service and food were absolutely great, but honestly, for the price, the quantity of food you get is a little small. But I guess that's the way it is with "high-end dining". I mean, you go in there knowing it's not Cracker Barrel. 😆
But seriously, it's a very nice little place and the food was delicious. But with a couple glasses of wine, main course, desert, taxes and tip, it was over $150 for the two of us.
Awesome place, friendly staff, my party of eight raved about the food. Prices are very reasonable. Gluten free options are available, live music was perfect.
Beautiful setting and very good food. My husband said his crab cakes had too much breading and were just luke warm, but still tasty. My filet mignon was nice and tender. The staff is attentive and friendly. Look forward to visiting for their breakfast.
Outstanding dining experience. The atmosphere is elegant, the staff is polite and very attentive, and the food speaks for itself. My wife and I will be returning the first chance we get.
Our experience at the table was very enjoyable! The staff was friendly and hospitable. Taylor and Jennifer made the dining experience both special and memorable. Super compliments to chef Casey and his team for knocking the food out of the park. I had the tuna tartare appetizer that was fresh and delicious, highly recommend this to start your evening. The filet minion was cooked Excellent! And I sampled the tomato risotto that was creamy and excellent. All in all you will not be disappointed to enjoy a night dining in at The Table at the Inner Banks Inn!
Ate at The Table for our anniversary, excellent food and service! Meals cooked to order, to perfection, and server was so kind and attentive. Only reason we went was because I'm close with one of the kitchen staff, and she made the reservation for us, but it was so worth it! Will be coming back frequently! (Also tried all the desserts of the night, highly recommend all of them!)
Outstanding meal! We had a wonderful meal here on Friday night. The food was fantastic. My husband had the ribeye which was to die for and I enjoyed the crab cakes. Everything was well presented and tastefully done. The staff were friendly and the ambiance upscale and comfortable. After a wonderful dessert, we sat out by the fire pit and enjoyed the changing weather. I highly recommend The Table and would happily return! Enjoy
My spur of the moment reservation was welcomed. I was seated right away. Everyone was very attentive. Shrimp cocktail was excellent! Scallops were sautéed perfectly. Tomato risotto was sooo good! Asparagus cooked to perfection. Portions quite satisfying. Thank you for a healthy, tasty dinner and wonderful service. 😋
Absolutely fabulous. The perfect place for a special dinner or a special mini vacation.
What a wonderful place! We met a delightful lady named Shannon who warmly greeted us and our puppy, made us a reservation for dinner and gave us an interesting tour! The food and service were excellent and we will definitely without a doubt be back ! Thanks for a wonderful evening!
Elegant and simple atmosphere with delicious dinner options. I had a lavender lemonade cocktail that tasted like summertime. The waitstaff was on point- friendly and accommodating. The inn and the table are absolutely charming and a must visit in Edenton.
The Table is as simple and unpretentious in its delivery of excellent food as it possibly could be for a restaurant of its size and caliber in rural eastern North Carolina. The Table is the sensible choice for anyone looking to enjoy a well-crafted meal with friends or a loved one. Excellent service and incredibly delicious food: what more could one ask for in charming Edenton?
Elegant but comfortable atmosphere, delicious food and cocktails! I loved the fire pit and the string lights too, just my kinda hangout. Will definitely be back to visit soon!
If you’re looking for a fine dining experience like no other in North Carolina, then you need to check out The Table. This place was absolutely phenomenal and you could not ask for a better chef to be running it. Expect to indulge on expertly crafted cuisine using only the best ingredients, and presented in a way that one would expect from a Michellen Star Restaurant.
On our first night we treated ourselves to the 10 Course Chef’s Tasting, and it was worth every penny. The experience was something we had never had before, and JD Fairman went above and beyond as head chef, delivering each dish personally and walking us through what he had made for us. Each dish tasted better than the last, and we had the opportunity to experience ingredients that you never see in restaurants in our area. To top it off, JD’s wife, Meghan Fairman, delivered some extraordinary deserts that were picturesque and tasted just as good as anything else we had that night.
To put things in perspective, it was such an amazing experience, such delicious food and company, we returned the following night for a 6 Course Chef’s Tasting. Chefs JD and Meghan astounded us again with another amazing night of gorgeous presentation, delicious food, great conversation, and an all around fantastic evening.
We will soon return in the not too distant future.
