Great place when you are looking for quick lunch. Fantastic selection of sandwiches. Your order is covered lightspeed. Sometimes it’s hard to make your choice. Cool interior with great story.

Good Food. Friendly Staff: It's not a weekly staple, but I've never had a bad experience with this E & Gs. 4 stars is good. 5 stars would be a quality deli or similar. This is not that, it's a fast food sandwich joint -- and it does a good job at that.
I order delivery a few times a month when work schedule is too busy and the kids like to go there between or after activities when we can't take time for family dinner as there is something for everyone. Staff recommendations have been good. Delivery has been fast and accurate. I like Subway occasionally, but prefer E & G's bread and offerings.
To the reviewer (B K) that couldn't find a sandwich without bacon or mayo, you are not looking very closely. I found three sandwiches on the menu (out of 16) with bacon. Besides, you can always take stuff off. Get real! That's not really a fair review of this place.
Update: I decided to order today for delivery during a busy workday (that prompted my review). I asked for pickles in my online order. They actually called me to advise they were out of pickles (so I wouldn't be surprised or so that I could sub for something else if desired) and to comp the price difference. Great service and communication!

Went during a slow time on a Sunday (probably 7 people in the store) and with 3 staff members plus the owner they couldn’t seem to keep up. The owner came and saw that the staff were struggling and went back in the kitchen and then was sitting out front smoking in front of the store. Store was very dirty and staff took forever to make our 4 sandwiches. We asked to have a table cleaned and they used old gross water and left the table sopping wet. Sandwiches were good but we will not be back.

I would not eat here again. The staff seemed to not know what was going on or how to make anything. I ordered a salad and after some discussion between the staff, I was told they were out of lettuce. How does a place with ten different salads on their menu run out of lettuce?
I then ordered a sandwich and went to sit outside... Opened my sandwich and it was full of..... Lettuce. I would have easily taken a salad with the shredded lettuce had that been offered but all I got was a weak apology.

I was extremly dissappointed today when I attempted to order a sandwich today. I had recently joined their email club and was offered a 1/2 off sandwich coupon. When I attemped to redeem it, the cashier was unable to redeem it, saying it was a corprate problem. I asked to speak to a manager, however not only was a manager not avaliable, the cashier was apparently the owner. He was unwilling to honor the coupon :( Needless to say, i most likley will not return there, even though the brisket sandwiches DO look good.

This restaurant is so up and down. A couple months ago I ordered online for a few people from my workplace. The delivery took an hour and a half. I was given coupons to get free sandwiches, which rectified that issue. Quick note: they were like $2 vouchers, so I had like 10 of them, which is slightly annoying. I went in about a month later to get another sandwich and I went to use the coupons and the manager(s) told me they were only for delivery. I was standing in the store, making their job easier because they didn't need to deliver! They told me I couldn't use it. I thought that was extremely aggressive. I admitted I didn't read the fine print, but why would you argue with a customer when they're standing right in front of you? Thankfully, the owner was right behind me and intervened. He told me delivery is something they struggle with, as well as bringing in new customers. He thanked me for my patronage and accepted the coupons. That rectified that situation. I ordered online today, 11.7.2018, at 12:12pm. The online website tells me my order will be ready by 12:35. I get to the store at 12:35. I stood there for over 25 minutes waiting to get my order I placed online, meanwhile other orders are just flying out. I was irritated, but didn't say anything as I figured those orders were there before mine. I waited, waited and waited. It took almost an hour for me to get my food, which I placed online to avoid a wait, then waited in the store for 25+ minutes, anyway. The General Manager, who I think is new, since I go to this place at least 2-3 times a month, was a really nice guy. He comp'd my entire meal which was two sandwiches, two bags of chips and a cookie. That rectified that situation. However, my patience is running really low for this place as the trend is once every 2nd or 3rd visit, something colossally goes wrong. They did look understaffed, that was probably the majority. So, I would heir on the side of caution and make sure you have about an hour or so for lunch.
It would be great if management saw this and would reach out to me, somehow.

Good sandwiches and options, I prefer over Jimmy John's. I'd give it 5 stars but the fiery Southwest chili recipe changed sometime since I use to eat there weekly, and it's awful now. The southwest chili was half the reason I went there and it's just so bland and bad now. The rest is still great though.

This place is alright. I would not describe the location to be anything special. The food is above average for sub sandwich places. The mayonnaise they use is nasty. I do not like mayonnaise as it is, but this is worse somehow. The staff is friendly and the service is quite quick. I do not see too many staff members more than once, but I only go a few times a year.
