Review Robin's Nest - Eaton Rapids

Great meal. I had Karon's veggie skillet and it was great. The veggies were fresh and tasty. Cut in bigger pieces, not the usual diced. Also, fresh mushrooms, not canned. So unusual to get fresh mushrooms anywhere. Eggs were done just right. Highly recommend!

I remember the Nest before the fire. Very happy with what they have now. Foid is ALWAYS scratch made, and never disappoints. We will return as soon as we get back to Michigan to see our kids. Great breakfast spot...if not the best.

We found this place in early June. We've been back several times and each meal is delicious and generous. Our servers have been on the ball and we have met the Owner our first trip and she's a very approachable and pleasant person! Plenty of parking

Just found this place on a road trip. Best breakfast I have had in a very long time. Excellent food, fast and friendly service, and great prices. I only have good things to say.

We decided to try Robin's Nest based off from an article in The County Journal. Our eggs were over cooked. There was no problem asking the staff to remake them. The new eggs were perfect. Our waitress seemed to be new as she didn't know answers to questions about the menu and drink refills had to be asked for. Menu prices were average, portions were a bit smaller than expected. The owner came out to chat with us for a bit and was very pleasant. Overall I would say that Robin's Nest is your average diner experience, nothing surprising or special, but still good food if you're hungry.

Always a happy atmosphere, good people, great food. Great Service. On a scale of 1-10. 10 being the best. I vote 15!!! Robin's Skillet. And country fried steak.

First time visiting. Loved the small town feel of the restaurant. I had the burrito. Veggies could have been chopped a little finer. Overall, great food and great service.

I've been coming into Robin's Nest for years, and I've always had a great experience. The food is excellent, and I love their breakfast options! The wait staff are friendly, and it's a cozy environment. Stop in here if you're in the area, I promise you won't be disappointed!

Small town diner. Fast service, polite servers, relaxing atmosphere. Both our meals were perfect.

Great family feel with a different take on the traditional menu. The couple dishes for the night are up to the chef! Want to go back for those magical cinnamon rolls I keep hearing about.

My kids love this place, we’re always treated great by the staff and the food is exactly what we were looking for🙂

Pleasant surprise, home made food , heat service @ a great price

First visit. Pleasantly surprised! Clean place, friendly staff, lots of choices on the menu. Decent prices, fresh, tasty food!! Well done!

I had a cheeseburger with usual veggies and coleslaw. Both were very good and the coleslaw was a little different with bell peppers - a great idea. Hubby had a breakfast skillet. Both meals were very ample and we took food home in "doggie bags" (styrofoam containers). We recommend the Robin's Nest but note the hours: 8 to 3 and closed on Mondays.

Walked in was greeted, found a seat. Another couple people came in and we're waited on after us. We still had no menus or beverages. Finally 8 minutes later someone came, I ordered a water hubby got a coffee and water. I was given a very small glass of water, think toddler size cup. Other guests ordered water and got a normal adult size cup. Never got a refill on my water. Ordered food the food was good tad slow as my food was cold. I think the waitress forgot to check on our food. I was very thirsty and never saw the waitress till she came and got are money found it odd she counted the money on are table we put are tip in with it but never told her. Found it odd she didn't ask if we wanted change or if it was all set. Overall, portions were good, quality was decent. Not sure if I'd go back for the lack of organization on wait staff. Felt like we were treated differently because we were not regulars.

My wife and I eat here every now and then. The food here is tremendous and the staff is great. I have a big appetite and a bottomless belly, but I somehow leave here like I should be on a stretcher, in a food coma. We love this place and recommend it to everyone...

You feel welcomed when you walk in the door by Robin and her staff. We shared a cinnamon roll between us and WOW, pure deliciousness. Our meals came and they were excellent and portions were large. Yummy in our tummy and we’ll be back!!!

It was ok food was hot which is good just thought my onions would have been chopped up in my eggs with ham not thrown on top. Hash brown really didn't have any flavor. Would go back as it's close to home.

A great place for reasonable priced meals. Try the wraps, they are very tasty and bigger than you normally get elsewhere. If you plan to go on a Sunday, best to arrive by 9:30 as this is their busiest day!

Great Food!. Food was very good, slow service but that is expected at a small town joint. I will be going back soon!

I will not be going back after my first visit!! The service was Horrible. I took my fiancé and 1 year old boy. We walked in and there is a table in the middle full of locals and the place went silent while everyone staired at us. As if this isn't awkward enough nobody spoke to us period. No sign saying seat yourself. None of the people working there (one happened to be sitting at the table with the locals!!) said anything to welcome us or direct us. We decided to walk to the side and sit down at a table. After 5 minutes of holding my son while he sat on the table a waitress finally comes over and we tell her we need a high chair ( thought that would have been obvious). The menu is big and confusing. It looked like biscuits n gravy and pancakes came with every meal. They only have breakfast and lunch sandwiches! I saw a sign on the wall about the specials after I ordered which was never mentioned to us. I ordered a half order of biscuits and gravy. I wasn't really in the mood for breakfast or a sandwich. My fiancé ordered a mushroom and Swiss burger. Fries were an additional cost so she didn't get them. We ordered the Madison big breakfast from the kid menu for our son. My gravy was definitely out of a can with some sausage sprinkled on top. I could not eat it. The mushroom and Swiss burger was overcooked and dry. And my sons breakfast was super greasy. Our server never came back to the table after dropping off the food!!! My fiancé could have asked for condiments to moisten her burger if there would have been someone to ask! She ordered it medium and it came <br/>out well done too. We will not be going back again!!

Food is great however they offten times mess up your order. Prices are reasonable and its a nice cozzy place. I just wish they wouldn't mess up my order everytime. (I'm not one of those people you can't ever please I'm talking simple thing that get overlooked such as if u ask for no onion they still give u onions!)

Good breakfast fare, big portions especially with the skillet dishes. Coffee is typical for a place like this. Robin is a delightful lady.

Nice little breakfast joint. The food is excellent! The prices are VERY reasonable, and the service is great! Wish they were open a little bit later... but not a HUGE problem...
