I recently had the pleasure of dining at Tavern on the Hill, a local barbecue restaurant that exceeded all my expectations. Not only was the food absolutely delicious, but the restaurant also boasts a beautiful view overlooking rolling hills, making the dining experience even more enjoyable.

BBQ with a view - the perfect combo. Moth the food and drink menus were terrific. Try the Smoked Cherry Old Fashioned for a little smoke drama at the table. Excellent blackened kielbasa as well as brisket. The pickled cucumbers were a welcome balance to the meats.
Food was fantastic atmosphere was awesome but the waitress just didn't have it together. Maybe she was new or something but otherwise amazing
Often forgotten gem in a beautiful location with incredible food and cocktails. Catch a sunset and you'll be hooked. Miss it and you'll still be hooked on the scrumptious BBQ and array of menu items. Best ribs in the area, hands down. The sides are incredible (my favorite has to be the pickled cuke salad but i could also eat a literal gallon of their mac n cheese). Only bummer is that they're under renovation right now so they no longer have the outdoor deck area overlooking the valley.
Ordered takeout - full rack ribs, half pound brisket a la carte, sides pit bean, coleslaw, and the salmon entree, for myself, husband and two friends. Everything was perfection - the brisket was outstanding. Lean but moist, flavorful and nicely sliced.

My wife and I came at 5 pm on a Wednesday and service was excellent. I enjoyed their smokey pumpkin cocktail and we enjoyed their brisket platter. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. The view from the deck was great as well! We will be back!
Nice place with a beautiful view. You'll probably want to make reservations but no need for a tie at this place, casual dress is fine. The food is excellent, the staff is helpful and knowledgeable. Great place for date night or catching up with friends.
It was a great relaxing dinner with my family. With our reservation, the six of us were easily sat at a table. The waitress gave us great recommendations for appetizers that werenât on the menu. It was fun and the food was delicious.
