Karoo Restaurant - Eastham - Photo album

Some of the most flavorful dishes I've ever had. The ribs were so succulent and I could sit there and eat the samosas all day! Has live music and an excellent drink selection.
Good food with a South African flair. Not entirely authentic but close to cape Malay style food. Also they have some South African snacks for sale like Romany creams, aromat and chocolates.
After I had to postpone my South Africa travel plans, I learned about this place and it was a very good decision to give it a try. My entire extended family that was a bit skeptical of traveling 40 minutes from South Yarmouth for a dinner, was absolutely charmed by the place - from its visual side t
If you are a curry lover and looking for something different than usual, look nowhere else! Park your car at the karoo! They have a wide variety of selections of extraordinary dishes plus nice ambience!
Great vegan options. The hummus was fantastic, and the falafel was some of the best I've ever had. Ordered the vegan bunny which was mighty tasty, but I've nothing to compare it to.
A little pricey but good food and great atmosphere!
The porch, garden patio and music is what capture you. Food is reasonably good, hot and lots of choices to please. Good pricing.
My girlfriend and I visited the restaurant thinking this would be something different. But we found a lovely atmosphere and incredible food far beyond our expectations. We started with ribs at $2 a rib so we could try a few different types and they were the best either of us had had before. But we w
Great food and great service! Every employee we interacted with were so helpful and friendly! Our waitress, Rachel, was so friendly while also being professional. Not only was our waitress wonderful, but the food was as well! Great flavors and their portions left enough for us both to take food ho
Food was really incredible although I think the appetizers were much better than the entrees. I'll probably just stick with apps next time. Cocktails were wonderful. The food took FOREVER. We arrived between 6:30 and 7 and food wasn't delivered until 8:20. So don't go if you're in a rush. Overall, g
We visit the area every year and wanted to try dinner here, but we never did until this year. We should have come earlier. Good choices for vegetarians and meat-eaters also. Diverse menu, but likely a few things to try for less adventurous diners also. The best thing I liked was the atmosphere in
What an amazing meal! We ordered straight from the specials menu with a few appetizers and drinks to start. This was our first time to the Cape as well as the first time to Karoo, rest assured it will not be our last. Do yourself a favor, if you enjoy flavorful and interesting, go to Karoo 😊
We had a fantastic dinner with friends here. We mainly chose to try Karoo because of its Vegan offerings, having one friend who we needed to accommodate. However, as I eat everything in the meat category I can say that lamb, pork and shrimp were all terrific. I found our appetizers to be quite go
Food is amazing. Our server Rachel is super friendly and was able to answer all of our questions. She's very enthusiastic and seems to love what she does, that is, helping diners enjoy their meals and the time they are at Karoo. We will definitely go back and hope to get Rachel again. The bartender
Amazing, all around. Not sure why this place doesn't have 5 stars on all the reviews! We eat out a lot and enjoy a wide variety of types of foods, and this is the best food we've had in a while, hands down. Came on vacation, and we were ready for something different, not just the same old clam shac
The family spent Thanksgiving weekend at the Cape, and we were happy we found this restaurant. We ordered some appetizer combos so we could try different things, along with our dinners. As a result, we tried most of their appetizers (falafels, stuffed grape leaves, snail rangoons, etc....) as well
I have been wanting to try this restaurant for a couple of years now and I am glad I finally got to. I love the decor and the soft lighting when you walk in - it really adds to the atmosphere and there are many authentically African items throughout the space. On the menu, there are many vegetarian
