Review Frog Rock Rest Area - Eastford

10.8.22 Sometimes you drive by and just have to stop. This is that spot. What a fun gem, great for the entire family. When we went there was live music. There's a food stand with hamburgers, fries, lobster roll, ice cream, milkshakes, etc. and outdoor seating, an area for the little ones to play, an antique shop/display store. And best of all, a huge frog 🐸 for those of us who love random pictures. Love this place.

We had the best dinner, this is a hidden gem, GREAT FRIES HAND CUT!!! ALL THE FOOD WAS AMAZING AND the atmosphere is perfect for a great experience 👌 😍 We will be stopping by again for sure!!

It is half way between my sister and I, so finally after years of driving by - we just met there for the kids to play. We had a burger, kids tenders, ice tea, ice cream, and fried pickles. Everything was food, service was great and friendly, and there was live music. We really went to take advantage of the play area which had lots to keep the kids entertained while we enjoyed the food and forest atmosphere.

Very good food and nice little antique shop. Nice area for children o play while waiting for food.

Went looking for a funky place off the path and found this gem! Played cornhole for the first time - I won by 5000 points (we came up with our own scoring system). Good burger and loved the homemade fries! We'll be back to try the seafood next. The froggle rock pic is must!

It was raining a bit but with canopies we were able to really enjoy ourselves, the food was very good and the portion size for the price was fantastic, will definitely be going back the next time out this way.

Loved all the little things here- the decorations, the games out for people to play, the playground, and most of all, great, fresh, hot food!!

The Atmosphere is great to me. Pick Nick tables, Ice cream, burgers, fries food like that. Bands on weekends. Stuff for kids. Shade, I love it, and will be back….often.

You can tell the owner really cares and the place is great for a rest. Playground, forest, good food, peaceful. Wish we’d have found it sooner.

Awesome food! Shocked at the price increase of the lobster roll it was delicious but at that price I can enjoy it in New Jersey as well. I miss the antique shop. Still a cool place to stop.

So sad to hear that Frog Rock has closed for good. I loved stopping by for a bite to eat. Owner and staff were friendly. My dog could join us, on a leash.

The food and ice cream were great. The band had a varied song list. Food was cooked to order so it was hot and fresh. Great outdoor wooded surroundings. Small play area for children. Prices were very reasonable.

We came back after the new owner took over and officially opened for the season. Food is just as good! Definitely going to be a favorite spot for some delicious burgers, fries, and shakes😋
