Amazing food, not too greasy and they always give a generous amount, great price and people :D

We have been taking out from this restaurant for many many years. About a year ago they instituted online ordering which was wonderful! You can make any special requests right on the website and they are always honored. You can also see the exact amount owed after you place your order for pickup or delivery. We always do pick up because we're always hungry when we place the order and it's faster. Our favorites include any lo mein dish which is very flavorful, roast pork with snow peas and chicken with mixed vegetables. The egg drop soup is also very good. There is no perfect place, but East Bamboo is very good!

Wow I am so astonished by this restaurant. Although this isn't your fancy restaurant with nice tables and lights, there is something welcoming about it. The married owners (I can't say anything about anyone else) are so friendly and I've gotten to form a relationship with them over time. They are VERY accommodating as in you want something fried? They'll do it. You want something steamed? They'll do it. You want to change the sauce? They will do it all.
I wanted to share my great experience because some people will complain about customer service and totally under estimate the food industry. They are super good at triple checking orders even when the restaurant is so packed the the line forms to the door. Call them around times that aren't the hot spots (12pm and 6pm) and they will get you your order immediately. If you plan on calling during noon or dinner time, expect to wait. No point of complaining. I will say, the wait is definitely worth it considering how much food you get and the price point.

Never been inside the story, always delivery. Their sesame chicken is on point and nice size portion. Delivery is usually fast or not so much (might have to do with ordering at dinner time). The only compliant I have is I NEED A LOT OF SOY SAUCE. Never get the extra Soy Sauce, but other than that.... TOP NOTCH
From the owner to everyone who works there, very friendly and very ready to please. The food is always good, haven’t had a complaint yet, and I’m sure if there were complaint, they’d fix it right away. Definitely my usual place to go to get Chinese food. Recommend highly

I really enjoyed all of the food that I got from this restaurant. They have a big menu with a lot of selections. There is something for everyone. The prices are fair and the portions are very generous. I would definitely recommend this restaurant
A local institution. We have ordered take out Chinese from East Bamboo about once week for the last 5 years and have never been disappointed. The food is excellent and great value for money. I have eaten in only once and the decor is basic - the only redeeming feature is the wall of currency from dozens of countries and some notes going back to WWII. There have been numerous other Chinese come and go in Eastchester over the years and I have tried them all - both eat in and takeout - this is the only decent place. Don’t bother with the others in the area.
I have stumbled upon this place and wondering why I have never been told about it. The food is probably the best Chinese food that I've in all of Westchester county. The delivery is very prompt I know sooner hung up the phone and they were at the door with delicious fresh food. And their prices are very reasonable
Food is very good, be aware when it’s around dinner time this place is extremely busy. One thing that I find strange here is if you order something to pick it up they will tell you 15 minutes then when you get there you end up waiting another 20 minutes. When you order delivery they will tell you 45 minutes to an hour and then the delivery guy knocks on your door in 15 minutes. I’ve been ordering both pick up and delivery from here a long time and this phenomenon has always confused me lol 🤷🏻♂️
