A great little diner in East Syracuse. Counter top service, open air diner. Had the Philly omellette with mushrooms. Coffee was fresh and hot. Real Italian toast, cut to order. Great homefries! A classic little diner joint! You should definitely stop by and give it a try.
Always driving by never stopped. Stopped in for the first time today. The food was great( the #1 special). The staff was amazing( so friendly, like you were part of the family). This will be my new go to breakfast place. Wait let's not forget about how great the coffee was.

Both meals were very good. Small place, very friendly, our waitress was great !

What can I say about the Redwood Diner? And East Syracuse institution for decades! Ever since I was a little boy I remember going to the Redwood. I’m 64 years old. I love the place. The new owner is very cool. He’s a young guy he knows how to cook. They got a great menu. Get over there and check it
Employees are extra friendly. Every one of them will see if you need anything. Food was typical diner food, I believe, is good. I enjoy the fact you can see the cook. No funny business. Cute, cozy, and friendly. I will definitely be going back.
