Review O Dinis Restaurant - East Providence

Isabel the waitress is the true Star Attraction here! She's sassy and sweet. I found it disappointing that all of the classic dishes rabbit, octopus etc are only served on weekends. I had the bacala it was ok a bit dry the boiled potatoes were great. The desert options all consisted of puddings all in all I wasn't blown away by the food. But the charm of the staff was pleasant.

Such a treat to be back here. Love The bife a casa. Great molho. Sagres beer. Sopa portuguesa and I’m obsessed with the … bread topping. I forget the word for it. It got busy pretty early. We visited on a Friday around 3pm and the whole restaurant was full. Pretty early to be full Used to go here a lot as a kid and haven’t been back around in a while. Still great as always. Parking is a little tough when it’s busy but it’s worth it

It feels like a family restaurant. Staff was friendly. I had the Portuguese steak. The steak was perfectly cooked and the sauce was amazing. I almost never finish my food but this time I did. I will definitely come back!

Traditional Portuguese food. Always fantastic, servers are wonderful and prompt and quite a wonderful wine selection!

Very small place but excellent Portuguese food. Good sized portions and very flavorful. Live music on Mondays was a plus!! The servers were very efficient and friendly.

I’m not Portuguese but I love this place any way. Everything I’ve tried is awesome and the staff really makes you feel at home. They have great options for people who want something familiar like steak and eggs or something new and a little exotic like their Saturday special of braised rabbit. They served the Portuguese beer with a frozen glass which was an awesome touch.

First time we ate here. Waitress was very nice excellent service. The food was good. I had Portuguese Steak the hubby had Quail. He loved it. Flan we had for dessert was good. Only thing I didn't like was the Sangria very strong.

Went here for my birthday yesterday. The food was delicous - I loved the seafood stew :)! I would love to give the servers a huge shout out!! They were amazing & when I was too full for dessert they brought out a small bowl of whipped cream with a candle so they could wish me happy birthday!! When you eat here you feel like part of a family! My Aunt & I loved everything!!

This place is the best. We go for dinner and end up spending 3 hours. Natalia and the rest of the staff treat customers (especially returning ones) like family. The laughs are nonstop and the food is some of the best I’ve experienced since moving to RI. The Carne de porco Alentejana is second to none. The bacalau is my second favorite. If there is a seafood special, get it - it’s always great; they do a wonderful job with seafood (I’ve always said the Portuguese have the Italians beat in seafood). The sangria goes down easy but packs a punch. It’s not 90% juice like most places!! Two thumbs up all around!

This place is awesome! The food is great, prices are good and the staff make you feel at home. We love going to O Dinis. It's like sitting in someone's kitchen and having their best meals served to you. Every meal I have had there has been very good. You can't go wrong. The rabbit or the octopus are especially good.

Small and homey with a great family atmosphere. Wait staff was top notch and very friendly. Food was delicious, served quickly and reasonably priced. The homemade desserts and homemade Raspberry Liqueur were to die for. No parking lot so the on street parking is a bit of an inconvenience, but a small price to pay.

Thanks so much for treating us so well Friday night. The food was amazing, our server took great care of us, and we were made to feel like family, as if we were in someone's home, not a restaurant. It was my favorite meal of the weekend, and I will definitely return the next time I'm in Providence. Your hospitality was much appreciated!

Rustic classic food with no frills. Great wine and the best service in Rhode Island. Love O'Dinis.

The food is authentic Portuguese food with that homemade feel...delicious. Generous portions and very reasonably priced. Service is a little slow, but that is because they don't rush you. Good place to go for a relaxing dinner but not if you're in a rush to be somewhere.

Once in a while you stumble upon a gem. Not a chain restaurant ,but a restaurant that was created from people that actually care that you are welcome and happy and are eating food that surpasses the norm.. That's Odinis. Thank you for a wonderful meal.

ODinis is a great place in East Providence. The staff makes you feel like family. The Fardo singers on Monday night felt like you were in a small restaurant in Portugal. Can't wait to go back.

Reminded me of my youth. Being at grandma's house on Sunday afternoon. Lots of food on your plate. Joking and hugs for all. It's becoming one of our favorite places to eat at.

The food is great, the best around but the service is terrible!! They take forever to go to the table and the food takes forever too,not to mention that they forget bread , butter and drinks sometimes. Not too satisfied
