Happened upon this place unexpectedly. I'm glad we did! My sisters and I are native New Yorkers who know good food. Ikhlas delivers...their combos & portions are generous. Their prices are affordable. Our chicken & fish meals were freshly made to order. The wait for our orders was well worth the wait. The steady flow of customers is a testament to their popularity.
I ordered 3 Shrimp Superbs and a 10 piece Bourbon Wings. Fries and a drink came with each one. I really like the taste of seasoning on the Shrimp. Did not like the Fries. The Tarter sauce coupled with the sweet bread makes for great tasting sandwich. Could not sit inside to enjoy it. It still tasted good.
I have been visiting Ikhlas over twenty years...I will always be a loyal customer. The 4 rating is for ; I placed a order for 1:30pm..i got there at 1:15pm. Order was boxed up and bagged..was lukewarm nothing to pop in the oven and reheat...our picnic plans changed would of been disappointed at the park.😒 However the young lady at the register was polite and friendly. I will be back
I had a 5 hour layover today at ATL. Wanted to go to another seafood establishment by the airport but that wasn't gonna work out! Ended up going here. I hate they only have outside dining because the wasps and bumblebees were flying around like little micro-managers! Anyway there is a bit of a wait because it's cooked fresh. My catfish was hot, fresh and seasoned well. I ordered some key lime cake but I'll eat it later. I would have rated it a 5 but the place needs to tidy up a bit as the trash was overflowing. Service was nothing special but I wasn't expecting the Four Seasons...... I'd return though...
Absolutely amazing. Fresh food great sides and keys not speak in the brownies. Absolutely phenomenal, found myself going daily lol. They make everything fresh including their batter for the food.
