Had a hot pastrami on the, matzah ball soup and a Brooklyn egg cream.
First thing you notice is the display of vintage seltzer bottles. While the bottles at the table are for decoration, the egg cream is made with seltzer from this vintage bottle. The owner graciously made the egg cream in front of me, and it was amazing!
The pastrami is juicy and flavorful, and the matzah ball soup is very hearty, comforting and warming.
Amazing hot pastrami sandwich!!! Yes, it’s more than your standard deli sandwich, but pastrami ain’t easy to make! Blows Ben’s away!!!
Excellent pastrami and other assortments and many kosher products. Very tasty.
The best pastrami ever. Got the Ruben and my coworker got the pastrami plus. STRONGLY. Recommend. Also the pickles WAOW!
Great food, so so atmosphere but then again you can’t eat atmosphere.
Fantastic Sandwich So tasty and the fries to die for. Immediate serving of cole slaw and pickles. Amazing sweet taste of the cole slaw tickles the pallet. Excellent service and very friendly atmosphere.
Great Kosher Style (non-kosher) pastrami, stuffed cabbage, French fries, chopped chicken liver, coleslaw, potatoe pancakes, Dr Brown sodas and eggcreams.
The best pastrami and corned beef sandwiches on Long Island. The Coney Island Kinish is incredible.
I'm so glad I found this place. Best Pastrami I ever had.
The food is great and the prices are fair for the amount you get.
The Reuben was excellent & the knish was outstanding! I will be back
Wow! Very very good pastrami sandwich. I live on the island ( Garden City ) and I have a favorite spot in Brooklyn I always go when I am in the mood for a pastrami sandwich. So today I couldn’t get to Brooklyn so I did a search on google and this place came up less then 10 minutes away, so I decided to give this place a shot. Well I give it 5 stars highly recommend. Pastrami was so moist not dry it was delicious sandwich. Thank You Pastrami Plus 👍
Wonderful pastrami that reminded me of all the wonderful Jewish delis that were around while I was a kid. If you are looking fort the real deal and a great pastrami sandwich without going into New York City this is the place to go to. We need to support establishments like this because they can become a Dying Breed. The food was great the owner is very friendly and a nice gentleman. I live on the North Shore I will certainly take the ride down to Hempstead Turnpike to visit them again and again
I came here with my father in law and little daughter and we all loved it. I have been coming here on and off for years and they have the BEST pastrami around.
I went to Ben’s and paid almost $20 for half a sandwich and the pastrami was ok bud not great.
Sal is always a joy to speak with. I love this place.
Hands down one of Long Island's hidden gems. Have been coming here for years and haven't had a bad meal once. Best pastrami sandwich you'll find & if you have room, make sure to get a gary dog!
I ordered from here last weekend while in East Meadow. I have a soft spot for Pastrami, so I have to try it, especially in an area of the US where pastrami is great. I got the East Meadow - the Corned Beef and Pastrami together with some russian dressing and slaw is my version of a perfect sandwich. Also - I got a pastrami knish. It was a little overly salty and garlicky, but that doesn't mean it wasn't fantastic. Finally, a hot dog knish with a delicious kosher dog inside. Looked plain, but tasted amazing. Also - I grubhubbed everything and it all came to my hotel PIPING HOT. Well done. I will be back next time I'm in East meadow.
