Donovan is a wonderful guy ! Helped us with the menu, stated the days specials and made some good recommendations . The ambiance is nice. The food is delicious with good flavors. Cornbread with whipped butter is out of the world. Great sea food spot.
Always wanted to stop here. Great theme, great location and great staff! I have to say Christian! Damn Son! That is a proper Blackened Shrimp! Don't get that in Michigan, EVER! Great job! Everything we had was excellent!
We had a very nice experience here. Very nice decor. The food was delicious. A little heavy on the vinegar in the greens but not horribly. Service was great as well. We have been waiting to come to this restaurant for a while. It did not disappoint. We suggested it to others after our experience.
Yesterday was my first time there and I was amazed with everything! Customer service was top notch and our server, Sarah, was so sweet, fast, professional, and made our dining experience that much better! I ordered the sangria w/white wine and it was delicious and I had the shrimp platter w/garlic b
Gumbo was pretty good but lacked something, no sure what it was. Good heat, sausage was flavorful, but not the best gumbo I’ve had. Had the garlic shrimp entree, very nice , excellent flavor, but a bit skimpy on the quantity. Corn bread was really good. Mash potatoes and gravy was uninspir
Wonderful first experience here. Liked that we could make reservations as we were from out of town. Staff was super friendly(although I wish our server checked on us a little more often). We were seated with a basket of hushpuppies. It was a very nice touch. I would definitely recommend coming for
What a pleasant surprise in the middle of Michigan. This place was the perfect blend of lowcounty comfort food with a fusion twist. Highly recommend the chicken and biscuts
Really good food. I had the deviled eggs and raw oysters. We had 4 different kinds of oysters. The Kumamoto was my favorite although smaller, it was very flavorful. Will be back for sure
The appetiziers were a bit on the pricier side for what you get but the entrées made up for it. The staff was very friendly and patient.
Carolina's never disappoints! I brought my boyfriend who had never been before, and he was thrilled with the shrimp. He's had shrimp at restaurants on Florida's gulf coast, and said Carolina's were much better. I had the Chicken biscuit dinner and fried green tomatoes, and they were divine! Donovan
We had a lot of fun here! Their food felt like upscale, authentic southern and had some great flavors. We ordered some oysters on their Monday special and really enjoyed passing the time here. Although their food is definitely on the pricier side of things, their well developed flavors and inviting
Second time visiting. Came during happy hour. I had the appetizers of the catfish bites and that deviled eggs. Both good. For a meal, blackened catfish, greens and macaroni and cheese... The blackened catfish was spicy - so if that's your jam, try it! I'm not a fan of even my momma's collards - but
Absolutely incredible restaurant!! They have amazing Southern cuisine & the decor literally make you feel like you’re on the coast down south. The staff is also wonderful! Highly recommend this restaurant!!
The food is delicious and quickly served. The server was wonderful. The serving size for the jambalaya was a little small for the price but that wouldn’t stop me from coming back. The shrimp platter was a large portion. We ended up ordering an appetizer at the end of our meal
The food was absolutely on point! I would highly suggest the deviled eggs starter! But, our server was impeccable. Overall wonderful
The food was delicious and our server was very nice. I loved the availability of outdoor seating and it’s in such a cute area. The happy hour is great and the oysters are worth the trip. Highly recommend the She crab soup. Will definitely be back!
The atmosphere here was very nice. It is a wide open space that is very pleasant to look at with a good vibe. My only complaint is it is WAY too dark inside. I had to use my phones flashlight to read the menu. I ordered the Chicken and Waffles with grits and an extra side order of cream corn succot
Amelia was our waitress and she was awesome! My husband and I split the fried chicken dinner into two separate portions and it was still a huge portion! And it was very tasty! Hush puppies are provided to each table before the meal. We ordered fried green tomatoes as an appetizer. We all tried some
