Great food and atmosphere! Service is professional, friendly, and prompt. Food was delicious and had great portion sizes, enough for two meals! I know this place has gotten some bad reviews in the past, but I’ve been going to pizza man for years and I can tell their new owner is really putting work into the place. Great beer selection, pizza was out of this world, and the salad bar is the best in town. If you’ve have a bad experience in the past, I highly recommend giving this place another shot.

Comfortable homey restaurant. I have only had the pizzas. Much better than any of the chain pizza places. Delivery is usually prompt and professional, although I have had a couple of bad experiences (one was a dropped pizza and the delivery driver said nothing about it... Have had a few other problems, but when I let the manager know, he was great and gave me credit for the next order.

Seems to me Pizza Man is trying again. They might have rested on their laurels for a while, but my recent take-out was outstanding. Chunky & tasty marinara on slabs of cheesy eggplant parmesan. Even salad greens were crisp—and green! Pizza was great, of course.

Enjoyed one of the best slices of Hawaiian pizza I had at a long time. Had a great conversation with Keith at the best of Alaska Show!

Well! I wish I had taken more pictures at this place but it was the first time I'd encountered a "schooner" of beer outside of the Pacific Northwest. It distracted me from taking any further photos at this remarkable establishment. I can't talk highly enough about this pizza joint. It's conveniently located right off the Glenn Hwy and easy to get to and then back on the road again. I loved the quirky layout of the building and the obvious expanse that has taken place as the place has grown. As an out of towner or "tourist" it was a treat to walk in and start looking at historical local Alaskan memorabilia. I got the sense that there was a lot of nostalgia and pride in the support of the local community. It gave off a super family friendly and welcoming air as we were escorted to our table. Marlis was our server and she was so friendly, honest and helpful. She was more than accepting as I worked my way through 96 oz of beer. Let's talk more about beer. Being from the PNW I'm used to a Schooner being significantly smaller than the "Mystery Schooner" Marlis brought me. It was a massively chilled 32oz bowl of Pizza Man Pale Ale to start with. 32oz! For $6! And it isn't even a Coor's, Bud Light, Miller Light, Rainier type of beer joint. They must have had close to 30 beers on tap and regular Schooners were only $8.75! For any beer on the menu! None of this PNW different prices for different beers. It blew my mind. And the food was really great! Beyond expectations. Chicken wings, cheese sticks, steak sandwiches, egg plant parmesan and of course PIZZA were all great. Their menu could work a little harder on identifying gluten free and vegetarian options as there aren't any markings in the menu. The menu itself is exhaustive and unexpected in it's offerings. I suspect you can go back every other day for a month sharing plates and not quite get through the whole thing. You gotta go. Make the drive, flight or float to get to Eagle River and experience the Pizza Man. Local treasure outside of Anchorage and worth the trip across the board. Say, "Hi" to Marlis for me and throw back a Schoon (or 3, if you're not driving).

We got our pizzas take-out. So I really don't have a take on table-service or restaurant atmosphere, but the pizzas were amazing.

This time visiting pizza man was very good! The food was good and the service was good! We’ve really had hit and miss experiences with pizza man over the last year or so, so this was a pleasant surprise. I suggest when ordering their pizzas to ask for light sauce. The flavor is great but it can be a bit much. I also prefer my toppings on top of the cheese so they get crispy, which I always ask for too.

Amazing food! Their garlic cheese bread, and the chicken bacon ranch pizza was to die for! Also their giant beers are great, and good prices too.

Great pizza as always!!! My biggest complaint is the cost of a plate of salad. � I love the house made dressings and variety of veggies available. Just can't personally justify paying so much. The pizza however, I've stuffed myself on for 2 days. ��

They had food that my grandson who has severe food allergies could eat!!! That is fantastic finding a place where the whole family can eat together!!! The food was also good!!!

I've always really enjoyed pizza man's quality of food and their service........until late tonight! We placed an order for one large 3 topping pizza, one steak and cheese sandwich (my favorite) and a chef salad. We ordered it for delivery to our home in Peter's creek were they have deliverd many times before. The order was placed at 6:15pm, at 7:45pm the pizza had not yet showed up. We called and they told us the driver was out side. First off, he was at our neighbors house, second, he only had the pizza , none of the other food. They offered to come back with the rest of the food, but it had already been an hour and a half. How long does a family have to wait for the food they payed for. We're having McDonald's tonight. Never again

Pizza is great... buttt home of the 8 dollar slice of cheese cake....??? Like common 8 bucks for a single little slice of cheese cake. I ordered a medium pep and sausage pizza like I always do and no complaints it's 19 bucks but 8 bucks for a slice of cheese cake it's litteraly the price of half a medium pizza. I keep ordering it don't get me wrong but common 8 bucks for a slice of cheese cake u probably spent 8 bucks on the whole cheese cake... besides the cheese cake price being whack they got good pizza I order constantly

We just ordered an extra large Margherita pizza and a whole meatball sub for dinner tonight. I have to say, I'm so disappointed by the pizza. There is soooo much sauce and the cheese isn't even melted. The crust is still light in color. This is truly a very disappointing dinner from Pizza Man. If you're going to do something, you should take pride in what you're doing, and do it right!!!

So, I ordered a Calzone which the customer can customize from a list of ingredients. When it arrived, it looked good but while eating it.......it smelled and tasted like stinky savory fish........throughout. Double Anchovies......it was awesome !

The points system is awesome. The extra thick crust is awesome. the sauce is awesome. I haven't tried all of the bread puddings, but the ones I have tried are awesome. The salad bar is awesome. The beers are awesome. That's probably enough awesomeness to convince you to go.

I'm not sure what is going on but the past few times we have ordered it has gone down hill fast! Today we ordered and received our pizza with everything completely stuck to the top of the box. I understand things happen. I called and they apologized and said they would send another immediately and should be here in 20 minutes. An hour and a half later and still no pizza. I called again and was told they got too busy and it would be there in another hour and then the girl hung up on me! Horrible!!

Pizza Man is a go to for many locals and tourists. The staff is friendly and the food way yummy.

AMAZING pizza! Literally the worst customer service ever. Nothing but racist people that ignore anyone of color! If any colored person comes in for dine in- you're put in a fcking corner.
