Every bit as good as the Broad Street location, just in miniature! Same menu and selection, even the same vibrant atmosphere. A great place to grab a coffee, though the line can be staggering at (predictable) times, especially during finals or just after lunch.

Good, affordable coffee shop nestled right in the heart of the Duke campus. Worth a stop for hot or iced coffee at any time of year. Convenient, comfortable seating right outside, and generally reliable quality for a campus coffeeshop.

Coffee's pretty good, comparable but probably slightly below the Broad St location. Can be pretty busy with students depending on the time. There's no place to sit inside, but that's probably a good thing b/c it pushes the laptop army out to the patio.

I'm leaving this review to counteract the 1-star review that includes a quote from Duke Vice President for Student Affairs, Larry Moneta, and mis-attributes it to having come from Joe Van Gogh's owner Robbie Roberts. How ridiculous and unfair. This shop makes great coffee and has great service, and I don't think anyone in this entire news story is a Trump supporter. This is liberals doing what we do best--eating our own.

I don’t like Starbucks, but even Starbucks would be a major improvement over this place.
Constantly getting the wrong drinks. Wait times are pretty bad. Overall professionalism is lacking.
I think it’s time for a Starbucks on campus not just in the hospitals.
