The server was incredibly professional and polite, not mention knowledgeable. The food itself was one of the best sandwiches I’ve had in a long. I’m from DFW, and we have tons of restaurant choices, but the best meal I’ve had in awhile came from Carvers in Durango.

To find a beer garden in Durango was a plus. Our server was amazing ( I wish I could remember her name, she was friendly and attentive and knowledgeable- the tab said Alora, but that doesn't ring a bell) the local brews were amazing, go with the double IPA, and the food was great- loved the artichoke dip and brisket sandwich, the stuffed mushrooms were just ok. If you are in town, highly recommend it!

The food was absolutely amazing. I got the beer braised beef tips and an amber ale. The beef tips came with mashed potatoes and the best green beans I've ever had. My husband got the filet mignon with crab meat and asparagus. The filet was so tender and perfectly cooked. Highly recommended!!

Very best craft beer, and great food to boot. The staff were good also, and very reasonably priced.

Hands down, the best Reuben I've ever had in my life. It's a fact. Wifey got the steak sandwich, which was very good as well. Beers good too. Request a table in the back or on the patio. The front smells awful.

Carver is a downtown Durango staple! Get fed and get a smile on your face with the happy local vibe there. It’s our favorite local breakfast eatery.

Excellent appetizer. (Stuffed mushrooms) We waited 30 minutes for our friends... The waiter knew we were running late for a concert, so when friends arrived, he got the order, and wasted no time getting it in, prepared, and out to us. When it was clear that we were done, and needed to run up to the venue, the check came fast, and the payment was swift! All entrées, were perfectly cooked, and every bit as spectacular as the menu said they would be. I have always been a huge fan of steam works… That is where I go when I am in Durango… I still like them, but, yeah, I will be in Carver first. Well done..., and thank you

My husband and I visited Durango last October 2020, and decided to stop by here. We were seated outside the patio and we liked it. The patio looked nice and it was relaxing. I think we had Tatanka burger (not sure) with their sidewinder potatoes and they were very delicious!!! We tried the Iron Horse Stout and Raspberry Wheat Ale 🍺 We ordered beer to go with the beer we like which is the Raspberry Wheat Ale 🍺(64 oz). It came in a very fancy bottle (growler), which made a very nice souvenir. We highly recommend this place!! We will definitely come back again and try something new. 😋❤️

Great little pub with totally delicious food. We had been on a 2 week road trip and totally needed this food that tasted like home. Thanksgiving dinner was so great, we left nothing on the plate. The apple crisp dessert was one of the best I have ever had. We will be back.

This place was suggested by a friend and they did not disappoint. Incredible food and beer. Stephanie was our server out back in their wonderful beer garden. She was FANTASTIC. She went above and beyond to make a couple of tourists feel comfortable and provided such a great experience. She not only gave us some great pointers for a couple of nearby trails but she sold us on their Bavarian pretzels that we came back later that night for a the pretzel and the Vapor Trail IPA. Definitely making this place our usual stop whenever we’re in town.

Breakfast was Amazing. Came again for dinner and drinks. Everyone visiting Durango should eat here. Anasazi Benedict might be the best breakfast I ever had. Biscuits and gravy, French toast also amazing. Creek lager and Belgium wheat beers were great. Get the cookie skillet dessert!

Never been somewhere where I enjoyed everything so much. Food, beer, service, options, seating, everything you can think of, 5 stars. So. Dang. Good.

Excellent covid dining experience. The back patio was open and gave the tables tons of space. The food and drinks at Carver’s are always excellent especially with their October Fest menu.
