Wonderful family, great food, smart menu - we have eaten pretty much everything on it. Nice, authentic, tasty food. Great prices, warm and friendly staff. We travel 50 miles to eat there, and do so often. We need to support this small family business!

Very good food. The baked chicken is definitely my favorite. Very nice staff sweet and kind. I recommend to try it out. Also the greens are good. Parking is side street but that's no biggie

Most importantly, Taqueria Mexicana has moved to it's new location on Lakeshore Drive, next to the car dealership just past the turn to Point Gratiott. It's a 4 minute drive from the original location. The sign at the road is really small, and the previous restaurant sign is still above the door. The burrito and enchiladas were delicious as ever. The ambiance of the dining room is comfortable and festive. As always the staff is friendly and helpful. We love this place, it's a welcome addition to the City of Dunkirk.

I ordered two tacos: al carbon and pulled pork. They were delicious. I also had a beef empanada. It was fried and tasted great. I usually get heartburn from that kind a food, felt great afterwards as well. They had a fridge full of Mexican sodas too.

Amazing staff. They know us and our orders because we go so often. Haven’t been there in 7 months came back and they still knew us and what we get. Great authentic Hispanic food!!!

Had the grilled steak taco (a bit over cooked/crunchy but amazing flavor and I’d try it again), and the roast pork which said spicy but thankfully wasn’t and it was my fav!

Staying in Dunkirk had me craving real food. I was surprised to find Tacqueria Mexicana, an authentic Mexican restaurant, less than a 5 minute walk from where I was staying. I walked in and was greeted by a busy gentleman manning a very small service counter. The place isn't the fanciest, but they have a clear and concise menu system with daily specials and a great selection of soda to pair with your food. This is the type of restaurant designed for high volume takeout or small parties dining in. It is not a sit down full dine in experience. I ordered a chorizo burrito which was not only delicious but was clearly crafted with love. The attention to detail in the assembly of the burrito lead to one of the best end results I've had in some time. The size wasn't the largest, but the proportions were proper and it left me feeling satisfied and full. The spicy red sauce is also by far the best home made sauce I've had from an establishment of this type. If it wasn't for them being closed on Sundays, I would have visited two more times for breakfast and dinner on my short 3 day trip to Dunkirk. HIGHLY recommended.

I visited here before about a year ago when they were at a smaller location around the corner and the food is still as great as I remembered it. I got Birrias tacos that were so delicious I had to go back and get a second order to take home with me. Not very expensive and generous portions are given. The wait for my first order was kind of long because the place was literally packed wall to wall, but my second order(which I called in ahead) was ready in about 5 minutes. I work in this area occasionally and will be a returning customer for the foreseeable future.

Not a fancy place but the food is excellent and plenty of it. Just enough spice.

Omg Ordered 3 tacos. 1 chorizo, (top), and 2 spicy pork. Absolutely awesome, fresh, served with lime wedges which is a nice touch. Probably the best tacos I've ever had in new York. Highly recommend
