Sadly, not what it used to be. The empanadia s carne, carrucho and pollo taste more of grease than what they were supposed to be. The empanada de guayava were stale. The bakery case was dismal.

Let's be honest, Dundee isn't exactly a "happening" town in Fl. But that being said they do have a quaint little bakery that serves up hot Latin foods (Puerto Rican 🇵🇷) along with some traditional dessert. Worth the pit-stop.

Horrible!!! For a little plate of food and two queso pastries I paid $20…. I don’t care how much I pay but if you see the plate of food they gave me ! Very little of everything and everything was sitting there for a very long time! the rice was super dry. the meat was two little pieces of Chicharrón! And two little Slices of fried banana! I will be honest…. I would never go there again!

This bakery brings home to you. The bread, pastries and breakfast sandwiches are just like in Puerto Rico. Prices are reasonable. Because of covid, only 3 people in at a time. Only a few employees. They take a while for hot food but it’s worth it and it’s just like in Puerto Rico, Nothing is fast service it’s a culture thing. It gets very busy and takes a while but like I said, it’s worth it.
Go with patience it can take 15-30 minutes for your hot food. I went at 11:30am ordered two breakfast sandwiches, a pound of bread (una libra de pan sobao) and two pastries and it took about 30-45 minutes. There was about 15 people that ordered after us. I was definitely grouchy but when I ate, it was delicious and instantly I became happy.

First time I went was during the week food was on point that day took 45m so hold on for a while for your food plus they dont keep track of who's next to attend. 2nd time I went waiting for another 50m plus easy I gotta go back to work and I'm just waiting for a potato ball. It was still cold from being frozen. I decided that it may have been a bad day for them because my wife was wanting to go there so bad I decided to give it one more try this time I went on a Saturday and it was even worse than the weekday and the females that work there most hate there job because they can careless about customer service and especially who's next. Food was under cooked boiled vegetables still hard, fried bananas still needed more time and the list goes one n on . After my wife wanted this for so long she got one thing and hated it. 3 other people wre complaining about the wait and other getting attended before them. That place acts like if I need them not the other way around. I know of way better places. Customer service is key
