Well-being Sushi

Always an amazing deal and SUPER fresh. I appreciate the owner always adding in something special whenever we order. If you’re getting the three roll special, make sure you ask for crunch!! It costs a little extra but makes a huge difference. Also they have the sweetest and ripest mango out of any other sushi place I’ve ever ordered from. 10/10

Definitely one of the best sushi spots in the area— rolls are awesome and generously sized/portioned. The sashimi is also very nice. Love that they give you some extra pieces of fried sushi plus a soup or salad depending on your order. Knocking off one star for two reasons— their service could be better, they really are not the friendliest; and because my mom got food poisoning from the salmon sushi. Not sure how it happened, just putting in as part of an honest review. We’ve been back since then and have had no issues.

I've passed by this small and inconspicuous Sushi place located at the corner of a strip mall for many years. I was finally propelled to stop in and try their fare today. I was pleasantly surprised by the freshness of their Sashimi. The tempura was light and not too greasy. Service was friendly led by a young lady.

They make really good Sushi rolls, usually rolls are stuffed with ingredients. Spider, Dragon, Mexican, Godzilla are some of my favorite ones. Their chicken teriyaki is also very unique. It’s made with breaded chicken and bell peppers. The keep the rice separate from the teriyaki chicken. Due to Covid, no dine-in option, just pick up and delivery.

PROS: This has the best tasting Japanese food around. Located in a shopping plaza on the edge of Dumont, this place has a variety of food that anybody can choose from. The parking is good and the waitresses are very nice, one is even cute last time I was there. The food tastes great and the bathroom is very clean. CONS: The place is tiny and can get crowded very quickly. The waitresses are slow when checking up on you, and the kitchen is even slower when making the food. The drinks are very minimal and the prices are to high, even though it's good quality. Sometimes its hard to communicate with them since English isn't their strong suit. OVERALL: This is my favorite Japanese restaurant in the area. It has good quality, nice staff, and good parking. The bathroom is usually clean and the menu has a lot on it. It just needs to increase the speed and decrease the pricing.
