Review El Paso Mexican Grill - Dumfries

Loved the place and ambiance. Parking can be difficult and hard to get in, but plenty of available. After lunch the place gets packed. ****HIGHLEY RECOMMEND**** drink cantarito with some birria tacos is a deadly combination.

All I can say is...🔥🔥🔥. I'm a TX girl, and food and drinks remind me of home.😋 Went on Tuesday, and they had a Taco Tuesday Menu. Birria Tacos, Sangria margarita, and flight had me sleeping like a baby.

We came into the area on a business trip, and we had to come back here 3 times for our 1 week stay. The food was amazing! We highly recommend it. If we didn't live in a different state, we would come back a lot.

We loved everything about this place. We went there on a busy day but the service was still great. Our server knew exactly when to bring what. The food was good quality and tasty. The drinks could benefit from an extra shot of something, but they were good on their own too.

Out running around and wanted Mexican Food. So I see El Paso Mexican Grill. The server immediately brought out chips and salsa. The Salsa can use so work like spice. The drinks were great.. I ordered the Molé enchiladas. I am my Princess had the shrimp. The Mole was out of this world. The Fried Ice Cream was a Fail. It tasted like cereal. But over all the food, drinks and service was great.

Great food and fast service. I created my own combo with a chicken tamale, shredded beef soft taco, and ground beef enchilada. The shredded beef was well seasoned, but just a little too salty. The tamale was hard and the chicken inside were bland cubed chicken chunks. Black beans and rice were a great side. Overall good first time experience.

Always they sit us fast. Service is friendly and attentive , and food is delicious one of the best Mexican places. very consistent UPDATE We visited El paso today 11/11/23 and it was amazing again . Server was awesome !

Food and service are decent. The place is LOUD when it's busy, much louder than other busy restaurants I go to. I believe it's the high ceilings and hard surfaces. It's definitely worth stopping if you're in need of Mexican food, and their selection of street tacos on taco Tuesday is pretty awesome

Great food and atmosphere! When I try a new place , I always ask the staff what they recommend off the menu...and The staff was super friendly and delicered a wealth full knowledge in what you try. And the Steak Fajita was one of those recommendations....they were great...just lacked in the sour cream and the quac...felt there was only enough for one complete fajita. The Cadillac Margarita is must have to complete the dinner.

Very unassuming building from the outside which in my book means it's going ro excellent mexican food! Experience proved correct again. Chips and salsa were good. Kid's meal reasonably priced (drinks are seperate) and the portions were generous. Even my 10 year old, who wanted to order off the adult menu, was satisfied. I got the mole burrito and my wife got the pablano burrito. Both were DEliCiOUS! Large enough to fill you up but not so huge you're miserable if you eat the entire plate of food. Definitely worth checking out if you are a fan of solid East Coast Mexican food.

Family started coming here years ago and have always enjoyed the food. Pleasant staff and food that is as good as we remember. The mojado burrito smothered in house cheese that is still amazing. Glad we made it back after 6 years of being away. Highly recommended!

Great place, will definitely go back! Service was spot on. Warm chips and fresh salsa within 30 seconds of sitting down. Salsa was OK but I prefer more onion, spice, was very tomato heavy but some salt and hot sauce and it was much better. Grilled chicken super burrito was definitely super. Huge! Loved the green sauce on it, temperature was good. Grilled steak quesadilla was excellent, fresh bell peppers made it taste like a fajita. Beans and rice were more on the bland side, but that could be considered traditional. Margaritas were good, but a lot of ice and I prefer a little more alcohol in it, less sweet. Still very good though. I'm a picky Mexican food diner and will definitely be back! Knocked off one star for salsa, margaritas, beans and rice. Entrees were excellent, service was stellar.

The food is good and the service is great. I liked it so much that I came back for seconds. I was here earlier in the week for work.

Neat, clean, cheerful restaurant right off the highway exit on RT 95. Comfortable seating, large menu and quick service. Plenty of on site parking. Large selection of lunch specials for budget minded travelers. The restaurant is easy to spot from the road. Food is good and prices are very reasonable.

We loved our experience in El Paso Mexican Grill, full of flavor dishes to be repeated any time soon. Excellent personnel but we felt a little rushed.

Passing through from South Carolina to Connecticut. Stopped for dinner. The restaurant staff was very welcoming, very helpful, and attentive. The menu was very good a lot of choices. The salsa was so delicious, the cheese dip was great...not watered down! Food was prepared fast came to the table very hot. Topped off with a great margarita! Loved it...will stop in next time

We are never disappointed with el paso. Their food is always amazing, the service is on point and the staff is wonderful. Can not say enough great stuff about this location. It's great for a date night and also great for families. They do an awesome job of sitting people with families in a family friendly space away from the bar and knowing when you walk in the door on a date that they should seat you with other adults is great. We love LOVE this place

Best Mexican food I have had!! They know how to make a REAL taco salad. The atmosphere and the staff are top notch.

Every time we go we're treated well by all. The staff is very curtious and seem glad we're there. Food has been good and as ordered. Only found one item I didn't care for but that can be expected. We'll keep going back enthusiastically

Love the food and friendly, prompt service. However, the place is so loud you cannot hear yourself think, let alone converse with people at your table.

Good food, good service. Although the parking lot was full(and we had to fight for a space), we were seated quickly. Our order was taken quickly and we got hot food VERY fast. Even our picky son loved it and asked if we could come back again. I think we have a winner here.....

If you travel I95 South. This place is the place to eat. Delicious and friendly staff
