I go to Duluth at least twice a year and I never leave without getting the smoked Alaskan Salmon from this place. I get the same kind every time, they have never let me down with their awesome service and the mouth watering smoked salmon. I tell everyone that goes to Duluth that they must stop there to get some smoked fish! The best you can get anywhere in MN.
Was told I had to eat here! Wait was a few minutes as they were pumping out the sandwich's and in the end I was well worth the wait! Hands down the best sandwich I've ever bit into!!!! You have to try this!!!

The Cajun Finn, Sitka Sushi, Silence of the Lambwich, etc., every sandwich is stellar.
Best kimchi.
Best smoked fish.
Hell, even the complementary pickle slice is the best!
The sandwiches are so good that, while known for their smoked fish, there's lots of reasons to get other meat options. Basically, blindfold yourself, throw a dart at the menu, and you'll love wherever the dart landed. Can't say that about too many places.
ALWAYS incredible. We absolutely cannot skip coming here if we are in the Duluth area. Just got engaged two days ago. Got married yesterday. Now we had to celebrate our honeymoon today with two sandwiches and the variety fillet of salmon. We spent our babymoon here and now we spent our honeymoon here! Thank you for being a part of our journey!
Wonderful food, they sell smoked fish but they also put that wonderful fish into delicious sandwiches. They have a small eating area inside, and picnic tables outside. I bought some of their pate. Featured on Drive-ins, Diners and Dives.
We drive up from the cities every three months just for the Cajun Fin Sandwich! It is our favorite place in Duluth!

I'm in Duluth every two weeks for work and I get lunch here every day I'm in town! It's a little pricey for a sandwich but worth every penny!

1st time & definitely not the last! My BF and I made a quick stop this weekend before heading to Lutsen and stopped back before heading home to the TwinCities! We had the Slamming Gordon, Silence of the Lambwich, Pastrami Mommy and Pork Loin! Hands down best Deli we’ve ever had!

The food here is very unique but well done and worthwhile. We ordered the salami plate and a half of a whitefish to go. It was my first time eating smoked whitefish and it was delicious. The flavors were good and the food was fresh. There were long wait times to getting your food so we walked around the area which was a delight. This is a must visit place!!
This place is phenomenal! After walking around Canal Park, we stopped here for lunch. The food is incredibly delicious. During the pandemic, they are only taking orders over the phone or online, but you can still seat nearby and enjoy your food. My sister and I got a table outside and just waited for about 15 minutes to get our food. They don't exactly alert you to when it's ready, but you can just check the finished orders outside their door. I highly recommend trying their sandwiches. They have a large variety of different flavors and styles!
If I could give this place 10 stars I would just based on the food! I stopped to grab dinner before hitting the road back to the Cities. Ordered the Cajun Finn, potato salad, and a pickle. The salmon was well seasoned and all the toppings paired amazingly. The potato salad was AMAZING; well seasoned and unique with delicious hunks of bacon.
Can't say anything about the inside as I ordered at the window. But I will say the employee who helped me was very kind, it smelled amazing inside (like fresh pickles?) and the service was fast. I WILL stop by again.
Whenever we're in Duluth, this is a must stop for food. The cajun finn sandwich is hands down the best fish sandwich I ever had in the state. It's incredibly flavourful, fresh, and moist. I ordered that without the green onion cream cheese that it normally comes with. We wish we can find a fish sandwich that good in mpls (Sea Salt sandwiches does not match up to this place and we like Sea Salt) We ordered ours for pick up and it was ready 5 minutes before our pick time.
The food was PHENOMENAL!!! I highly recommend this place. I got the pastrami mommy and my partner got the Banh Mi - both were so flavorful and tasty. We also got a half pound of the smoked white fish (because we watched the DDD episode) and it was a very interesting, an acquired taste I think. The thicker pieces were a lot more enjoyable in my and my partner’s opinion. So definitely worth a try!
Wow, I can't believe we've been coming up to Duluth year after year and missed this gem! Enjoyed the Cajun Finn and some bison sticks, went back on day 2 to order the same thing plus a turkey sandwich and some summer sausage and smoked lake trout. Can't wait to try them all on our way back to the cities. Appreciated the knowledgeable staff about allergies/gluten as well. Will be recommending this place to others and can't wait to come back!

Well... Because of Covid-19 we could only do " Contactless Take Out." That was fine since we were staying at our usual Hotel which was within easy walking distance. We were able to eat our early dinner at the local brewery - Hoops.
The food was very good!
My sister-in-law had the NWS Salad ($15.75) -
- It included Smoked Atlantic Salmon, Fresh Mixed Greens, Pickled Ginger, Cucumber & Tomato with Sesame Oil, Vinegar & Wasabi Mayo (on the side).
My brother had the Sitka Sushi on Ciabatta ($13.25) -
- Gravlax, Pickled Ginger, Cilantro, Sliced Cucumber, Cabbage, Sesame Oil & Vinegar, Wasabi Mayo & Sriracha Sauce.
Our Mom ordered the Hedonist ($11.50) -
- Which is Country-style Liver Pate, Sweet & Sour French Pickles (Cornichons), Onion, Fresh Lettuce, Mustard & Mayo on a Hero Roll.
And finally I had the Special (I think?) - It was a Beef & Lamb Gyro ($12.50) -
- It was a Roasted Shaved Beef and Lamb Combo, Tomato, Red Onion, Cucumber & Tzatziki Sauce.
My family really enjoyed their meals and so did I. We will definitely be back!
