Dined in for a quick lunch today while holiday shopping. Everything we ordered was delicious 😋. I had the chicken biryani which was spiced perfectly and they included a side salad, yogurt & a curry. My husband had chicken chettinad & he was very impressed with how authentic it tasted. His entree came with rice on the side. Prices were pretty reasonable too!!
We were always skeptical about this place due to the bad reviews. I beg to differ & I’d say the restaurant was packed and everyone around me was very happy with their food. (It’s a pretty small place & you can hear everyone. So yeah, not a place for a romantic dinner/lunch for sure). Highly recommend this place & we will definitely be back to try the dosas.

Great place food is fresh and tastes amazing. The people were very kind and helpful. Definitely coming back. My husband had the lamb kabob and I had the chicken. They were both tasty. The portions are generous and everything was so so fresh. Great place to have dinner or take out.
Good South indian restaurant. Way better than other South Indian restaurants in and around Arlington. Service was great.
Today, we went to a delightful restaurant for lunch, and it was an awesome experience! The service provided was incredibly friendly and attentive. We decided to order the Goat Biryani along with bagara rice (goat curry), and I must say, it was a truly scrumptious meal. The flavors were rich and authentic, and the meat tasted incredibly fresh, making me feel like I was savoring a long-awaited delicacy. The dishes were so tasty, and I can confidently recommend this place for anyone craving delicious Hyderabad style food. A fantastic dining experience that I would love to repeat! 🍽️😊
I had a delightful dining experience at Dosa grill known for its Indian cuisine. The Bagara Rice Goat Curry was the star of the show - tender goat meat in perfectly balanced spices. The service was impeccable, and the ambiance was cozy. Highly recommended for fans of authentic and flavorful dishes!

The place has been remodeled a bit and now it's bigger than before giving a good ambience. We did a dine-in which we haven't done in a long time at this place. The order was taken quickly and was polite. The food was great, especially veg biriyani and rava dosa. The sambar tasted good when it was hot, but once it started to cool off it was okay. Overall a good place for take-out and dine-in.
Been here during lunch time , atmosphere wise I don't see anything impressive . But I loved the food quality and quantity . I had onion uttapam and boneless chicken biryani , both items were good and I love the sambar . Definitely will visit again to try the other food items.
Really good food, but inside is kind of run down compared to the previous restaurant that was in this location. My table had dried food stains on it. Staff is very friendly, and there isn’t a long wait for food.
Nice place for South Indian dishes. It's near our home. I like Idali-Wada combo. Other non-veg dishes are also good. So many dosa options.

Got the take out for 3rd time. Ordered masala and cheese dosa. Obviously dosa is best eaten freshly made so not recommended for takeout since it gets very soft and feels soggy - certainly outside restaurant's control given how humid it gets for this area. The only thing is that the chutney sauces 'seem' smaller for takeout. The best dishes to order for take out are the curries and appetizers.

This place makes fresh proper dosas. And menu fill options for dosas are many and each dosa comes with 3 sauces that frankly, I have not seen at most other Indian establishments I've been to (awesome plus here). And the lamb and goat curry ....... is un-apologetically fresh. Kinda feels like they use fresh herbs and spices. Oh wait, it located next to an Indian market that has fresh herbs and spices. And mild = spicy, which is how it should be.
I didn't grow up eating dosas but this is literally a repeat place. I am now eating more at this place than fast food chain restaurants.
So in conclusion: Dosa Grill makes fresh proper dosas well (and also lamb & goat curry really well too). Enough said. Go eat and see for yourself and please do not do dosa for takeout because it'll just get all soggy on the drive home.
I have experienced a lot of great varieties of food at dosa grill so far and today I tried poori with lamb keema it tastes so good. I recommend must try the breakfast.
