Tullio's Bakery

Great family-owned and run Italian bakery in the heart of Duck with a variety of baked goods from bagels and fresh bread, to donuts, to cakes and everything in between. Bagels and bagel sandwiches are excellent as are donuts and eclairs. This will be a regular stop for us from now on. Awesome job, y’all.

Stopped by Tullio’s this afternoon (Wednesday 3:45 pm 18 October 2023) to get a few pastries. A few people there but not a long wait. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Patrons were really sociable and chatty, enjoyable. I ordered Sfogliatella (lobster tail), mini pumpkin cheesecake, apple tart, two apple fritters, and a chocolate cookie. I can say with 100% surety, every pastry I have tasted from Tullio’s is awesome. I highly recommend you stop in for a true delight.

On vacation in OBX during my son's birthday decide to order a cake from Tullio's. Ordered marble cake with chocolate ganache filling with vanilla butter cream. Cake was amazing super moist and delicious. Also went back for bagels and some other treats every thing was amazing! If you're in Duck be sure to stop in!!

Thank you Google Reviews for discovering this gem of a bakery. I saw the positive review and a picture of the scrumptious sfogliatelle pastry, and we had to stop by to buy some goodies. When I walked in I thought I was transported to a bakery in northern NJ. Black & White Cookies, Sugar Cookies with Sprinkles, Crumb Cake and Italian pastries. The cupcakes had a very moist cake, and creamy toppings. The Carrot Cake Cupcake tasted just like a slice of moist carrot cake but even better with a creamy cream cheese frosting. Then I had a Chocolate Chip Cookie. It had a nice crispy exterior, soft and chewy on the inside, lots of chocolate and a hint of brown sugar. Talk about divine. Then I enjoyed a Black & White Cookie. A soft cake-like cookie with vanilla and chocolate icing, and just as I remembered from my childhood. Truly delicious because the icings tasted delicious apart and together. I haven't finished all of the goodies, and I'm sure they are as good as the ones I ate. Thank you for giving me a slice of home in the Outer Banks.

These bagels are authentic NY. They literally brought tears to my eyes remembering getting bagels with my dad growing up in New York. I can now create memories getting bagels with my own children at the beach. We have also enjoyed donuts and even birthday cakes from Tullios. A trip to Duck isn't complete without Tullios.

YUM! Best breakfast we had while visiting the Outer Banks. Obsessed with their BE&C. Try it on an asiago bagel! Also tried their sfogliatelle, apple fritter and pain aux chocolate. Could not have been more delicious. Service was great, vibes were on point. It's a good thing we don't live closer otherwise I would be spending a lottttt of $$$ at Tullio's! 10/10. Worth a drive even if you're not staying in Duck.

We got our wedding cake here and it was absolutely AMAZING!! Delicious! All the guests agreed it was one if the best tasting wedding cakes they had ever had. We ordered chocolate cake with raspberry buttercream filling and iced in almond flavored buttercream. The piped decorations were so beautiful. We chose to add sugar flowers we ordered off Etsy but the plain cake would have been more than beautiful enough on its own! Dawn was very easy to work with, just keep in mind that they are a VERY BUSY bakery during the summer season and so she cannot take cake orders before noon. Call in the afternoon and she will be sure to help you out!
