This place came highly recommended so we thought we'd give it a try. Our server seemed irritated to serve us, she was not very friendly and was very impersonal. The food itself was pretty good, even though I received an incorrect order. Being that our server was already in a mood it seemed, I didnt bother to send it back. If we visit Dubuque again, I may give it another shot but doubtful

Good beer, great waiter, food not to good. Ordered a Asian peanut salad based on description on menu, said greens topped with an asian slaw on top of wonton strips. What I got was bagged iceberg lettuce with carrots and purple cabbage sprinkled with a few cashews. They could have just said they were out lol! Probably wont order it again, but overall the place was clean and tidy.

Great pub and grub spot in Dubuque. Knowledgeable bartenders and attentive wait staff. The garlic fries are steak fry thick with a curly cut and the skins on - perfect. The pulled pork was done to perfection, and the sauce had a great flavor. Wife had Buffalo chicken sandwich - watch out for the heat in the sauce! The Panko onion rings were also most excellent with a tasty dipping sauce.

The breakfast food was good but the service is absolutely terrible. We waited 45 minutes for our food, the waiter was rude and told us that everyone should take a "server" course in school because apparently my group didn't know how to order food, and there were absolutely no condiments (jelly, butter) for the toast. The facilities are beautiful, but this restaurant really needs to work on the service to really hit it out of the park. I will not recommend again.

Man was this place disappointing. This review is solely on the food itself. Was in town for the weekend and found this place on a google search. The menu looked yum and the reviews were good so we decided to give it a go. We started with the chorizo empanadas. The outside was flakey and cooked perfectly but the inside was literally just chorizo and hash browns. It was dry on dry. Needed cheese, sauce .... something. Anything! I ordered the Main Street breakfast which was eggs, hash browns, bacon, and biscuits and gravy. Hash browns we severely undercooked. Bacon was the limpest of limp. Eggs were fine. Biscuits and gravy were ok. Nothing exciting. My guest ordered Eggs benedict. Yolk was solid in the middle. Immediate fail. Maybe the place was just having an off day. Not sure. Trying to be opened minded but all in all just wasn't what ug was cracked up to be.
