When my group of guys chose this Afghan place, I thought, "But... There's Thai, Korean, and Chinese food literally right there. Why here?" I was so pleasantly surprised by the food though. It was seriously delicious. Never expected I'd enjoy Afghan, but I guess I never knew what it would be. Don't be afraid to ask about menu items. Service was slightly slow... But the regulars I went with said the staff had some new faces. I recommend the hummus highly, as well as the beef and the lamb. Will return next time I'm in SF!

Nice unique Shabushabu. Staff is good but not amazing. Food is very tasty. Sake is nice, soft drinks and tea are not refillable.

Long time customer: this place is absolutely delicious. Sauces are incredible (especially the ponzu). The current Yelp rating does not do this restaurant justice.
I've been to hot pot restaurants all over California, and I've never had better. Girlfriend and I always make a trip out here when we're in the Bay Area.

Unique and pretty tasty if a bit of a nickel and dime charges (no refill on drinks including tea). Extra charge for everything on the theoretical all you can eat menu except for cabbage but all you can eat cabbage for $20 a person is not a great deal. Also there is a time limit of 90 minutes but it takes 30-45 for your first plate to come then you have to cook it. You are better to order ala cart, unless you have a plan and a strategy to order plates of shrimp quickly.

Friends and I love this place! It's pretty empty for lunch so they refill your plates really quick and they offer awesome service. The think sliced pork, beef and veggies are all u need! Get the Sichuan broth

Good food with an all you can eat option. All you can eat includes meat (beef, pork, shrimp) but not unlimited broth (hot pot) and only two small servings of noodles. Service is hit and miss, but is fairly quick.

Sugoi! The "All You Can Eat" is truly all you can eat. Most hot pot places would deny you extra rice or soup base but not this place! Quality is definitely worth the price!

Loved spicy miso broth with pork and noodles at the end! Staffs are friendly and place is very cozy. There is a bar with individual stove for singles so it is perfect for me!!!
