Great mom and pop right off 290. Coffee was hot and exotic and the food was fresh and delicious. Turkey sausage egg and cheese with a pesto cream was the best breakfast sandwich I have had in a long time.

Super friendly staff and amazing food. Love this place! I had the green salad with tuna and my friend had a turkey panini. Both were amazing. I’m so glad we stopped here!

An eclectic collection of everything old and a great place for coffee and pastries. The menu offers unique breakfast offerings. Grab a cup of the wall and pour yourself a selection from o variety of coffee blends. They offer local products such as carvings, candles and soaps. A nice garden setting is sure to ease your morning.

Absolutely perfect! As first timers we didn't know what to expect but this place was fantastic on all levels. I had the Turkey in Thyme sandwich (toasted) and loved it. We took peach pie and carrot cake to go! You must try this place in Dripping Springs.

Awesome selection of sweet and savory. The staff is super friendly and helpful. You might wait a little longer for your food than some places, but the grub is well worth the wait.

Stopped in here for breakfast one morning and was not disappointed. Had the Fabienne Stack special with a mimosa and Black Velvet coffee. Everything was delicious and definitely hit the spot.

Stopped on a road trip right off 290 for breakfast. All we could say was “wow.”
Got a chipotle breakfast sandwich and a blueberry turnover and coffee. Staff and food were amazing. What a find.

If you know where to look, all towns have hidden gems. For Dripping Springs, Thyme & Dough is it. There are a lot of great places to catch a bite in Drip, but no other offers a deliciously unique breakfast and lunch menu as Thyme & Dough.
The indoor/outdoor bistro is one part bakery, one part breakfast cafe, and one part sandwich shop, expect for Bistro Night every Thursday PM. One thing you can always count on is fresh, literally farm-to-table. The owners buy local where possible and most baked good are baked in-house. The result is a masterful blend of quality baked goods mixed with local ingredients and provisions that provides a next-level taste bud experience.
My favorite is the Jerome Stack, with a close second Fabienne’s Eggs. The breakfast croissant with chicken sausage will seriously make you think twice about ever consuming a fast-food breakfast again. Like any good bakery, you can also take home freshly baked breads and desserts, and the 6-grain bread is a family favorite. Their coffee and espresso bar offers a wide range of options, but there’s nothing like the Black Velvet drip coffee or freshly squeezed orange juice to round out the breakfast/brunch experience. Thyme & Dough’s menu is extensive so there’s plenty of room to extend just about any palate.
The atmosphere is quaint with a strong sense of community and openness. In fact, we have made several friends over the years at Thyme & Dough, and when we bump into each other, we dine together and catch up. It’s just that kind of place. The owners and staff are fantastic, frequently making rounds to ensure everything is top-notch. If you’re looking for breakfast or lunch, or a yummy baked treat between San Antonio and Austin, you cannot do better than Thyme & Dough!
