One of the best Italian restaurants I've ever went to. We had the meatballs, calamari, mozzarella sticks, porkchops, braised beef, pasta Del Mar, and chicken finger platter. Everything was delicious and freshly prepared (first time I ever had fresh mozzarella in the sticks). For dessert we had a sundae, the bread pudding, chocolate cake, and blondie. Again it was heavenly. The waiter was wonderful. After telling him it was my sons birthday he put a candle in his dessert which was very cute. The staff was very friendly and attentive. I would definitely go again.
If I could give this restaurant more stars, I would. My fiance and I ate at Domani Star Saturday night after reading their menu online. We were seated right away despite not making a reservation (but they get crowded so I would definitely recommend making a reservation.) The staff were super friendly and attentive, and the owner of the restaurant came over to make sure everything was good. The restaurant atmosphere was intimate and friendly.
The food: I could write paragraphs about the food. Let me start off by saying that everything came out piping hot! It was obvious that everything was made to order and wasn't sitting under a heat lamp.
For appetizers we got the Polenta e Gorgonzola (Oven roasted polenta cake, Gorgonzola sauce & rosemary) and if you go to Domani Star you HAVE TO GET IT. It was drool worthy. Next time I might just order five of these for dinner. The polenta cake had a perfect rosemary flavor weaved throughout it, and the gorgonzola sauce was creamy and delicious, with bread crumbs over top.
The second appetizer we got was one of the specials for the night, so I don't know exactly what it was called, but it was a crabcake on a bed of arugula. It was the best crabcake I've ever tasted, with a perfect mix of crab, veggies, and cooked to perfection without any fishy taste. The sauce around the arugula was a perfect blend of sweet and savory.
For dinner I had the Linguine del la Mar (Linguine tossed with sautéed scallops and lump crab meat in a white wine and garlic sauce with Italian artichokes, sundried tomatoes, and sautéed spinach.) IT WAS AMAZING. The scallops were done absolutely perfectly (which is hard to do) and the sauce was devine. For $27, it was an insane amount of seafood. I brought half of it home because I couldn't finish it. I highly recommend this dish for anyone who likes seafood!
My fiance got the Fazzoletti con Carne (Homemade fazzoletti pasta (little handkerchiefs) with slow cooked boneless beef short rib, asparagus, fresh mozzarella, and parmesan cheese. Served in a light sauce of white wine, aromatics, and tomatoes. Topped with breadcrumbs.) This is their only homemade pasta, and it's super tasty! This was a more hearty dish, and my fiance had an absolute look of bliss on his face while he ate it. Again, all the dishes came out piping hot, made to order.
For dessert, we ordered their homemade chocolate pudding (which I think was a special for the night.) It was kind of a mix between pudding and mousse, and it was delicious. It wasn't too sweet, and was a perfect way to end a perfect meal!
I would LOVE to give Domani Star way more than five stars, but instead I will just tell all my friends to go there next time they have a night off in Doylestown!
Domani Star is by far one of the finest restaurants in Doylestown, service & food just awesome, ask for Jess, she’s the best server you’ll ever have anywhere.

I had a wonderful family gathering at Sorella. There were 14 in our group and we enjoyed a delicious selection of appetizers and wine as we chatted and visited with each other - then we all sat down to a fantastic dinner in very comfortable, intimate space. The desserts were to die for. The service was flawless. And after dinner the kids even put on some music and did a little dancing. A good time was had by all. It is a memory that we will always cherish!
Stunning cuisine, my only complaint is the propensity for it to become so incredibly loud, you cannot have a reasonable conversation at your dinner table. This is to no fault of the ownership, it's just some folks can't control their vocal volume whilst drinking wine combined with a small space, lol. :-)
We’ve been eating here for years, and have always had wonderful experiences. From the food, to the exceptional service, this is a perfect spot for a “date night” or family meal. Pasta Bolongnese is killer!!!!
We were actually at Sorella's, but they share the kitchen with Domani Star. The food (Italian) was great. The jazz was great! I think you and Julie would have loved it! BTW...we found a house and we close in early October. Would love for you two to visit since you are now empty nesters
Have been here several times now & really Love this place. Great food , great service & BYOB! A Doylestown Favorite
The waitstaff were uniformly wonderful. The Jazz duo was superb! The food was so good. I had carrot soup-wow- and the pasta with braised short rib and asparagus. Mouth watering. We had fabulous seats for the band. We will be be back!
We had a wonderful dinner at Sorella last night. Same menu as Domani Star with the added bonus of live jazz! Loved the atmosphere. We will definitely be back again soon.
Great service and great food! Loved it :) Pricey but worth it!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Doylestown this past Friday evening! We were visiting the Botaro’s—my niece and nephew. They treated us to dinner at your restaurant!!
We each ordered a different menu item and each was delicious 😋 The service was good on a busy night.
We look forward to our next meal at Domani👍
Everything we ordered tasted delicious!!! Great Sunday brunch!! So glad we found this spot, we will definitely be coming back for more!!!
Great food and atmosphere. Will definitely be back.
We love it! Food, service, ambiance...and annex at Sorella is equally nice.
The family atmosphere, the homemade pasta, the delicious simplicity, great service - you don’t want to skip this BYOB. The menu features traditional, fresh classic dishes, nothing over the top, just really great food. The espresso was killer too.
Domani Star has never disappointed. When my favorite dish was changed on the menu, they were always willing to accommodate my request to prepare it the original way (bless you!).
When it came time to choose a spot for our wedding rehearsal dinner, we just knew it had to be at Domani. I cannot say enough good things about the fantastic food, friendly service, and cozy atmosphere.
Special shout out to Karly for always making us feel so welcomed, and for doing a spectacular job putting our rehearsal dinner together!
Very kind service. The facility was clean. My espresso was excellent. As for the Italian cuisine part, my encounter with the flavors and preparations were not that.
Delicious meal!!! Fresh ingredients, creative recipes & amazing service! Best dinner I’ve had in years. Can’t wait to enjoy another meal at Domani Star!
Atmosphere was nice and there’s many different kinds of pasta options. BYOB if you’re interested in an alcoholic beverage.
Good not great. There were a couple things I found a little odd. The side of broccoli wasn’t seasoned that I could tell. The bruschetta was done in a style unfamiliar to me (thick sliced bread, heavy garlic with halved cherry tomatoes) and the skin on my bronzini was really slimy. But I can see the appeal. 👍🏼
Amazing as always! Highly recommend! The food is absolutely delicious!
It's always a wonderful experience going here. Yes, it's a tad bit expensive, but it's completely worth it for the quality of food and service. It's a great spot for date night or just a bunch of friends getting together. Wonderful sharebles and it's BYOB, which is awesome!
Cute little Italian place in the heart of Doylestown.
We had lasagna Bolognese and my husband had the salmon. They were both delicious. Service was on point, warm n friendly.

Really nice cozy restaurant. Our hostess and server, Morgan was really attentive! The food was excellent. The only odd thing about the experience was the other server, male with beard was dismissive. He completely ignored myself and another table. It's a small restaurant so his failure to be as friendly and attentive was magnified. But thank heavens for Morgan! Keep up the great work!
Absolutely the best Sunday breakfast in Bucks County. Try the homemade pancakes. You will be amazed how delicious they are. Dinners are just as great. Great food and service. My favorite restaurant in Doylestown.
Domani has always and will always be a special Italian gem in Doylestown! Great staff, flavorful food, and atmosphere! What more could you want? Lightly recommend!
Food is wonderful. Love “poppies chicken.”
I've rated it 5 stars since the food was very good, service was good, not great. We like to take our time with the appetizers and our food came out before we were done. And while this is authentic Italian, it was not our favorite around. That's a personal preference so I can't rate it 4 stars since it was tasty, fresh, and well seasoned. I'm glad it was BYO. The jazz band on Friday was a nice touch.
I recently visited for a corporate lunch and holiday party. The food and service was exemplary. The atmosphere is rustic and cute.
The dessert was my favorite part. The bread pudding was like a warm French toast hug in my tummy. Tut chocolate cake looked great but was dry.
Domani Star is one of our favorites in Doylestown. The food is just wonderful and the service is always caring and attentive. The ambience is intimate and welcoming. We went tonight and thoroughly enjoyed some great selections from the awesome “locals” menu.
Simply an incredible dining outing. Special thanks to the chef and servers for making our dining experience there tonight, incredible.
