The first time there we had an HR before they closed and politely asked if we ordered food would we be rushed after ordering appetizers and drinks there was 10 of us and we were told no. Soon after we got our appetizers the woman stated we close very soon so we decided to leave, I liked the scenery and decided to go back. My second visit wasn't what I expected, the food was bland and the waitress took long and didn't check on us only wanted to ask if we're ordering more! The language couldn't have been the barrier on slow service, but I tell you what it is a nice little quiet place. But that's a no for us.

Just got my takeout sushi from them. This may have been the worst sushi I have had. First they didn’t include chopsticks. Which kind of defines sushi and the experience. The rest of rolls didn’t taste fresh at all. I have eaten here before and it was decent. But something changed and it was not good. I would look elsewhere for sushi.

The sushi was absolutely phenomenal! The quality of their fish was above my expectations. Each delicious morsel has the perfect balance of rice, fish, and flavour. If you are ever in the mood for some top notch sushi, I highly recommend getting your fill here!

Had high hopes but was disappointed. Sushi was decent but frankly overpriced. I was ok with that but everything else was 1/5. From none existent atmosphere, to poor service, and lastly, and most essentially, very average food, which made me feel sick when I got home.
This is not a sit-in restaurant but a strictly speaking only sushi take out place. Their sushi is better than the one you get at Giant. You pay more though but then again, you’d hope any decent Japanese restaurant puts together a better roll than Giant.
In short, I might order take out sushi again and see how that goes, but avoid if you’re thinking of having a nice date night. This ain't the place.

Ordered salmon hibachi. Salmon tasted old as did the rice. Not fresh food very disappointing. Tea and service was the best things about my meal.

Do not order dash. All I got for $43 was sauce and they refused to deliver my food.
The man on the phone was very rude. He told me I needed to contact door dash because the delivery driver probably ate our food and he could not refund my money If they did not my problem

I love okinii. This is my go to spot for sushi or sashimi. The quality is always very fresh and I haven't had anything that I don't like. The wait staff is very pleasant and the atmosphere is awesome. The restaurant does not feel super confined which most sushi places have that vibe. I've been to Japan and thought after eating sushi there it would never be the same. I can safely say that okinii is the closest thing to Japan.
