Reviews H Salt Fish & Chips

The last remaining H. Salt franchise (no longer H. Salt) in the greater LA area as far as I know. Service is always excellent, but the food is even better. I used to live 3 minutes away from the old spot off Rosemead in Temple City. Now I have to drive over half an hour to get good fish and chips, and it's worth it. I still think the prices are fantastic for how much commodities have gone up. I know restaurant supplies have near doubled/tripled in the last year, and I don't feel that they've adjusted accordingly, which means I'm still eating the fish and chips that I love, at 2019 prices.

My favorite and not just for a Lenten dinner; it’s yummy any time of the year! Fish and chips are so delish! Their tarter sauce is one of the best and their zucchini sticks as well!

The food was delicious and the fish was freshly fried and comes in a bag that has holes in it so that your fish does not get soggy. Great idea! I definitely will be back here To try the other items on their menu. Just a quick note they are CASH ONLY

This was my first time here I live in long beach, I was on my way to work and Google fish and chips and this came up, I was very satisfied with the food, and very reasonable prices I was impressed by how cheap it is, I will definitely come back and try the rest of the menu

My all time favorite Fish and Chips! I've been eating here for 30 years. Now I live in downtown Long Beach and drive over 15 miles to eat here. I try to make it at least once a month worth every trip I make. Stop by and enjoy, you'll be glad you did!!!

A small, basic but amazing place. Specializing in Fish & Chips as it is named. The cashier & cook was incredibly polite and helpful. Our first time and by the end of lunch, we felt so welcomed. Bring your friends and enjoy a classic UK food! Highlight: Reasonable prices and drink refills! Note: No alcohol, not a bar, hard seats, no TVs for entertainment, not a date-type place.
