Food was really good. I love the the tea that they bring to table. We did notice that they have a pick up service that keeps them busy which tells me that they have good food here. I had the beef chop suey that was great. My friend has combination fried rice and it was like piled high on plate. Enjoyed our dinner here very much
I have been looking for an old fashioned, classic Chinese food place. I finally convinced my husband to try it out on Friday night. It wasn't too busy when we arrived, but as we were leaving they were getting busy. Huge menu! We ordered the Orange Chicken, Chicken and Broccoli and Chicken Fried Rice. All were huge portions and excellent! Reasonably priced, too. I was happy to find just what I was looking for here and we will certainly be back. The interior isn't anything crazy nor does it have to be if the food is good - it was clean and that is most important. The parking lot was large enough that we got a space easily. I really enjoyed the hot tea and almond cookies. Looks like they get a lot of repeat business - we will be back soon, too!
My husband and I decided to stop by this place and have dinner here. We Have ordered this on delivery before, but having it fresh was next level!! The star of the show was a stir fried chili spinach. It was not too spicy light and refreshing, and it was season well enough nothing had to be added to it. I definitely love the scallops with salt and pepper It’s a must try if you love seafood!!! Our waitress was lovely, and was very attentive to us. She also decided to give us a free soup, and it was absolutely to die for highly recommend, and they will be definitely seeing us again❤️❤️
Dish names: Sesame beef, sweet-and-sour, chicken, salt and pepper scallop, Stirred fried Spinach w Chilis, & Beef lo mein
It was Easter Sunday and I entered the restaurant where I saw nobody. Was finally greeted after talking out loud. I ordered pork egg rolls and Peking duck. The pork egg rolls were ok, the sweet sour sauce in the bottle was horrible. The Peking duck was great!! The skin crispy and meat moist. The pancakes were dry that accompanied the duck. The server was a no show my entire meal. If you want Peking duck, come here
Second time here for lunch and the food is so good. This time we tried the wonton soup with Kung Pao Shrimp, which was kinda spicy and combination egg foo yong. The portions are huge and yet priced reasonably. Music/radio is missing and seems odd to me to dine in a super quiet space.
Love this place!! Great food and authentic evidenced by many Asians dining here.
I have been looking for a new Chinese restaurant for some time now and decided to try Lao Size Chuan. I purchased shrimp fried rice, egg rolls and their brown gravy. Finally tab was around $25.00 and was it worth it. The rice had green peas in it which I had never seen, but I was very impressed with the quantity of food and the quality. It wasn't salty at all which let me know that it didn't have an exceptional amount of Msg which was fantastic. I will be going again and highly recommend them.
Very delicious Chinese food. Great location on Ogden avenue just east of highway 355
Great food. No Bar unfortunately if I could throw in a couple Zombie or Scorpion mixed drinks I would be here 3 days a week. But the food is amazing at least the dishes we eat. Especially if you like your Chinese with just a Little heated seasoning!
I ordered to go. Although it is a very simple dish, they cooked very well.
1st time visiting this place. Drove 20 miles. Egg rolls perfectly crisp. Large serving of entrees which were great but the serving platters were cold. Not sure why but server said the kitchen was cold. We ate until satisfied and brought the rest home.
There were only a few guests dining in but they have a huge carryout business.
Recommend: yes.
Food is authentic, well prepared, at reasonable prices. I thought the sweet and sour fish was too sweet; the fish with black bean sauce is better. Beijing style eggplant is also very good. My wife loves spicy food and this restaurant has a wide selection.
Food is good service is ok.
I wish they would add less sugar in some of their savory dishes. This is our number 2 Sze Chuan restaurant in Chicago land area.
As a Chinese, I have to say the food is very delicious. It is way better than Laoischuan in downtown. High recommend Szechuan boiled beef, and Szechuan pork belly, ganbian green long been. If you love spicy food, you will enjoy the same as me.
Pleasant surprise, eating here. So far, the best szechuan experience I had in the Chicago suburbs. Highly recommend the special eggplant dish! Definitely planning to go back.
Their food is very good but my favorite thing about this restaurant is going with a group. They have nice round tables with a lazy Susan in the middle to facilitate sharing entrees. When paying the bill, I didn't notice that the waiter had already included a tip and I had written in a tip. I was surprised that he came over and pointed out that fact. I let him keep the additional tip but was impressed that he pointed out my mistake.
