Il Toscano Restaurant - Douglaston - Photo album

Perfect old fashioned cocktail, food is phenomenal excellent, good time here will definitely be back
I came here recently for Mother's Day and was greeted with a warm hello from the owner. Il Toscano provides that warm, cozy feel which added to our superb dining experience. Since it was Mother's Day, we were provided with a special menu. Normally I'm not a fan of holiday-centric menus, but this on
Even though the restaurant is somewhat outdated, the food and wait staff is out of this world. Never had a single bed meal there. Also, the desserts are outrageous, the Napoleon cake is by far the best I've had anywhere in the world, including Italy.
The resturant pays attention to the details. Food was amazing! They make FRESH Mozzarella on site which tasted so good! All the staff is attentive, professional and courteous. The owner/manager was very welcoming. Walks around and has quick convo with guest ensuring appreciation of patronage is felt
The food is fabulous!!!! The lobster is my absolute favorite along with the Caesar salad and their homemade Napoleon. I just love this restaurant so much!!!! Lisa, our server is amazing and so professional!!!! I highly recommend!!!
We started with a lasagna “for the table”, because why wouldn’t we? It is a very good, classic cheesy and saucy lasagna. The perfect start to a “light” meal. We also had the Spedini special which they describe as an Italian grilled cheese with pears. It was really good, and far better than it soun
I love this little gem right next to the train station. This is a really cozy and homey Italian restaurant. A little expensive but worth it. I had the lobster special and it was pretty good. Lasagna is great. I was most impressed by the Napoleon Desert.
Alessandro and his wonderful team made us feel like special guests from the time we arrived until we left. They gave helpful and detailed descriptions of the menu items and specials. The advice on dishes when ordering and while eating added to feeling that the staff was there to ensure we made the
Local neighborhood gem. Everyone knows this place and the food is just quality eats. Wait staff is very hospitable and so is the cozy seating. Next to the Douglaston LIRR station, you can't miss it. Excellent food, run to get the foie gras while you still can. And try the lasagna, it's really a grea
Food is fantastic but high priced Portions were good. The specials are the way to go The waiter was unfriendly and acted like he was doing us a favor serving us. I hope when I go back that same waiter isn't there or I might not stay
Little pricey but love it. I arranged dinner for my family reunion and everyone enjoyed it.
Amazing food and great atmosphere. Would definitely come back.
It's a bit clique. Regulars apparently have their spots at the bar so be aware that if you're just grabbing a quick drink before the next train - you may have to move if "Tony" walks in Didn't eat but heard the ravioli is beyond compare. I'll be back
Heard about this local neighborhood joint for YEARS, even when I was living in long island! I ended up moving to this neighborhood, holy CRAPPPPP IS THIS PLACE AMAZING!!!! Don't even look at the menu, just order off the specials the servers go over. It'll feel like a bedtime story, but I promise it'
Went there the other night for dinner with my family, and the food was amazing and service was also great. I had Logan T as my waiter and he was super nice, and helpful with everything.
Great service, delicious food. Can’t complain about anything there.
One of the best Italian restaurants in Queens! Amazing service. I also had the best pasta primavera ever! I'm vegan and my family loves Italian food so I've tried a lot of primaveras. It was the homemade pasta, along with the veggies that were julienned to a similar width. It created a uniform textu
