Longhorn Steakhouse

My togo order was packed in two containers. The sweet potato fries were limp (boo hoo I prefer crispy) from the being in an air tight container with the salmon, rice & brussell sprouts. I asked for the sweet potato fries to be packed separately but they were not and limp again for the 2nd week in a row. Arrrgghhh! The rest were tasty treats. The ceasar salad & dressing shipped separately and all is well. Plenty of condiments & utensils. Service prompt.

We had a bad experience at another steak house and left before we ever got seated. Decided to come here and knew it was a good idea as soon as we walked in the door. We were immediately greeted with a smile and service that was so good and wholesome that it caught me off guard. It was above and beyond what one would expect from 5 star service. The food was amazing: both steaks cooked just right and sides were good as well. I thought the sweet tea was also really good.

Well where do I start. The server gave my son the wrong drink, she told us they would have our bread ready in 5 minutes as it was still being prepared. We received the bread after almost finishing our meal. My wife ordered fries with her choice of side, but was served mashed potatoes instead and when we told her the error, she said, "I'll bring the fries right back". Well.....as you guessed, we got the fries when she brought out the to go boxes (yes we had to tell her twice). I ordered a chopped steak medium rare, but was served red/cold and not warm/pink. We were more than just dissatisfied. After all the mess ups she finally gave me the ticket, but oh it was another table's ticket and clearly not anything we ordered. It was $25.00 more than ours and I asked for the manager. The manager went back and brought out the correct receipt, but did not deduct anything due to the numerous mistakes. "Sorry for the mix-up", was all we got from the server. Never experienced such a mess, but people do have bad days sometimes. I'm only giving one star review so this will be posted for customers.

Oh my goodness... everything was delicious. Caesar salad was awesome with the right amount of dressing. Steak was cooked perfectly and very tender, and loaded baked potato was yummy as well. How could I forget the stuffed mushrooms? They were almost a meal by themselves! Our server was super sweet and very timely with everything. Love Longhorns!!
