Review La Casona Colombian Restaurant - Doraville

The service was ok, the waitress didn't really explain the plates correctly or wasn't very attentive. We had to track her down or ask another waitress if we wanted something. The food was very delicious, but unfortunately she could have done a better job explaining the sides and amounts you get with it.

Good Colombian food. Not all dishes are good, but most are. The sancocho, empanadas and bandeja Paisa definitely are.

This is a great restaurant, with friendly staff, delicious food, and nice ambience. The tacos I had were wonderful, and I look forward to the next time I go there, where I will get them again. I appreciate the management here, and know that this is a place I can give a full recommendation for.

Colombian restaurant. Ordered a bandeja paisa and the flavot was authentic, i would have wanted the presented more organized. We went around 3pm on a Wednesday and the atmosphere was pretty quiet (soft salsa music playing over speakers in the background). There were top 3 -4 tables of people. The waiter was courteous and attentive.

Great service! Delicious food. Get the empenadas to start. I had the arrow con camerones (shrimp and rice) which comes with a small salad and plantains or fries. Hubby had lengua and liked his too! I almost ordered a bunch of empenadas to go!

Good flavor, great size in their portions, the service is very nice and a fair price, the only “but” is that they offer natural juices for drink but they denied to do it sugar free. And the only “sugar free” option are HOT TEAS, when you go during the summer the least that you expect is that.

Delicious, authentic Colombian food in a casual atmosphere with very good service. Today I had shrimp and black beans on a thick white corn tortilla with avocado. It was a new dish for me and I loved it! The chicken with mushrooms and liver and onions are also very good. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I wanted some Colombian food so I decided to try this new place because is close to home. Honestly I’m so disappointed the food was really bad the chicken had no flavor the steak on the bandeja paisa was really hard the French fries were flavorless( I meant no salt whatsoever I added some at home ) but the worst of all was the arepas they were so bad it got stuck on my husbands tooth because of how hard they were, they were also coming apart like very bad. The mini bandeja had this mini arepa that was a ball like literally a ball of dough with no flavor. I eat Colombian maybe once a week tbh and this was my worse experience I’m really sorry but this was a waste of money.
