It was delicious! We went on my daughter's 12th birthday while we were traveling to Florida. My husband told them it was her birthday, and the staff got everyone's attention and everyone in the restaurant sang happy birthday, someone behind us even gave her a $10 bill and the manager gave her a strawberry shortcake for breakfast. The food was delicious, my husband said it was one of the best sausage biscuits and gravy he ever had, and my son was so happy when he got back in the car he even asked if we could come back and eat here on the way back home to Charlotte. Overall a great time and amazing customer service, thanks Jackie!

The cook knew us when we walked in and the rest of the staff greeted us. Not many people there so there was a bit of causal conversation. This is how it used to be when my girls and I first started going there with my ex-husband and his parents. Then it went down hill,the staff got snippy and unfriendly, and we stopped going. I'm glad to see that the staff has gone back to being friendly and recognizing their regulars.

Dorene was our server and might I say she was amazing. She should train other servers on how to be a great server. She was prompt and knowledgeable about keeping her customers happy. Not one time did we have to ask for a refil or salt and pepper. She was one step ahead the whole time. Not only was the service great but the prices were very affordable you definitely hit your money’s worth if not more. We will be coming back to try their lunch and dinner. Thank you Dorene for the great first time experience. Give this woman a raise.
