Flynnies Diner

This is the second time eating at Dixon, I’ll famous restaurant. It’s much larger in size since last time I visited. More seating and updated decor. Good job! After a few minutes we were seated and drooled at the selection of offerings for breakfast. My mouth watered as my taste buds exploded as I read the menu. I decided on the one egg with biscuit, hash browns, bacon , Marks gravy and a side of silver dollar pancakes. When Kim, our server brought our food I thought to myself. How can i eat all that??? Lord and behold I finished all of it except a few bites. The dish tasted amazing!!! Like one of those things you eat and don’t want the taste to go away! The pancakes would not just let me have a few bites. With a little syrup and being home made….Shazam! The coffee was also very good. Not like that coffee that taste like oil. I had three cups along with my meal. The place was busy but Kim took good care of us. Put this place on your bucket list and I guarantee you will NOT be disappointed. Good bye and until I visit again.

This meal was consistent with every other experience I've had at Flynnie's. Friendly, fast service, but only as fast as you want it to be. I say with my three friends and had coffee and a meeting with breakfast. We took as much time as we wanted and were helped when we wanted with no pressure to clear the table. Great, fresh food and friendly service.

Flynnie's Diner is cafe size, which is small enough to see the other diners, but not so small that the walls seem to be closing in. This was my first time stopping in and I found this to be a wonderful place, great menu options and the staff was very friendly. Flynnie's Diner came Highly Recommended and I can honestly say, they didn't disappoint! The only real complaint, the bacon was a tad burnt, which is an easy fix. A must visit if you're in the Dixon area for sure!
